They'll probably drop the price a tad and rename it as a 4070 Ti, and for future chips vbios limit the lowest binned ones as the regular 4070 with just 10GB of RAM. Good on them though for walking it back. It would have been a disastrous launch had they kept it as is.

Seems like the puzzles/exploration/atmosphere are good, but the combat and save system really bring it down. I think if they actually implement a manual save system it would greatly improve the overall experience.

Anyway, since we were talking about the Deck, might as well post this here. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves is Deck Verified I'm interested in seeing how these games run on the Deck. Should be pretty good since we know the game supports FSR2.0. Cool that they even implemented the Steam Deck controller glyphs into the game.

You can unlock the FPS in the ini file... but there's probably not much reason for you to really do that (unless your laptop supports 120hz+?

It's not sold at retail. You can only get a Deck from the Steam store currently.

Heavy my ass And how long exactly are you playing? 2-3 hours? Shit, even in bed or on the couch you're resting it on your body. It's got WAYYYYYY better ergonomics than the Switch.. and is way more comfortable to hold for longer sessions IMO.

The devs already addressed this. It's being patched. XSEED made a statement regarding the PC port: "Thanks for celebrating the launch of Travis' latest adventure on new platforms like Steam. We're excited for you to explore Santa Destroy once again, and we wanted to let you know there will be an update coming soon to improve some of the visual elements in this version, including draw distance." And outside of that... you could already "fix" the PC version by tweaking the ini files for the draw distances and other effects... as the guy mentioned in the tweet there.

It's weird. I was completely appalled by this game in the very beginning... but then I've really come around on it... and what's even more weird is that I fully understand that some aspects still look quite bland and uninspired... but it still looks good to me in some weird way. I'll definitely play this at some point, but it won't be a day 1 purchase.
