Yep. There's really no shame in doing that to reduce the tedium for games which would otherwise be great. While I'd usually suggest not using mods until after doing a normal playthrough... if you're forcing yourself to suffer through something you don't like... then just use a mod that makes that aspect less tedious. Especially if that's really the only aspect holding back your enjoyment otherwise.

It's just insane the amount of content in that game. Looking forward to the new story chapters and cruising around Mexico with the newly added radio station with music from the previous entries in the series Hell, I still have a ton of things to do in the Hotwheels expansion. I've really barely made a dent. This update will get me back into it

Just use a damn mod. Your enjoying will multiply 10x with no downside...

Gonna quote this again and say this... If you only have Forbidden West, and are asking if you should BUY and play Zero Dawn first... then I'd say start playing Forbidden West a bit first, and see if it's your kind of game.. and if you like it, and the world enough... then stop playing it, buy the first game and play it. There certainly is a problem with PC gaming atm with the latest hardware essentially pricing out large groups of people. Oh for sure. At this size, the resolution is perfect in all honesty. Going above this is just needlessly wasting resources for these devices. Most games use TAA nowadays, so the shimmering and jaggies at that resolution are mostly negated. Certainly 1080p would be the limit. Running games on the Deck at 1080p downsampled to the native display resolution produces an image which looks incredible. The screen is perfectly fine though. What "much better screen" is there? I've also told you it looks better than the OG Switch's screen. It's not ideal, but after 6 years production costs of the Switch have dropped considerably... allowing Nintendo to upgrade the screen. Valve is obviously making concessions where it can at this stage in it's life... because these things still cost a lot more to produce.

Not just me... cows themselves want a remaster of Bloodborne for the exact same reason. The game deserves better. You can literally play every other FROMSOFT Souls-like on PC and console at 60fps... and once you have.. there's no going back.. it just feels terrible. And as a side note, I've been playing Elden Ring on PC again and the patches have completely fixed the stuttering that version had at launch. I specifically went through areas which I knew for a fact stuttered and it was locked 60 the entire way.
