Pretty sure we knew this from the EPIC vs Apple thing. Sony undoubtedly sees GamePass as a threat to their business. They even mentioned as much in their response to the MS/Actiblizz merger. They're undoubtedly incentivizing publishers/developers to not adopt it.

Another thing that sucks is that there was that rumor of a Gears of War collection, which I have to admit I got my hopes up and was kinda really looking forward to. I would have loved to have seen 1-3 and Judgement come to PC with improved visuals and whatever else. Even that would have satisfied me for the rest of the year... but it was all bullshit.

Not having any releases for this year is just stupid. I still can't believe it. How do you not have a single major release for an entire year? They really needed Starfield for this year. I could at least defend them a bit if they had THAT... because it will definitely be a big launch.. But once again they drop the ball when they really can't afford to... It really doesn't matter when MS would have released the One X. They didn't have any games ready to take advantage of it until the damn thing was out already. Outside of a few (at that time) studios, MS only really had The Coalition and Playground Games that push visuals.

Haven't watched the video yet, but Smash is superior on every level. Visually it's far more detailed and active, with more players at a time, and some very cool environments. Not to mention it's roster is full of most of the best characters in gaming history... Comparatively Multiversus is flat, somewhat boring looking. Stages are very simplistic and not nearly as flashy. However, that doesn't mean Multiversus is bad. I actually quite like it.. and for the teams first effort, it's pretty commendable.
