Still sucks that to experience the full native feature set of the controller it has to be connected by USB. Not that big of a deal since people are typically close to their PCs as they game.. but getting full support through wireless drivers would be better.

I'd like to see Xbox go with an internal battery and ditch the AA for their next controller iterations. It's just more convenient. And as was already brought up before... newer chargers can charge batteries really really fast.. so you're not inconvenienced for long. Dualsense drains quickly, but it also has more tech going on inside of it. So using a quick charger instead of whatever the console probably puts out might help a bit.

Series X controller for PC native games, Xbox games (best all around controller for game support) PS5 controller for PS games (games which feel better having d-pad as the standard method of movement (menu based games as well) Switch Pro controller for whatever you want (my favorite standard controller since I did the d-pad mod) any variety of 3rd party fight sticks for Fighters any variety of 3rd party controllers for Emulation (I have Genesis, NES, SNES, Gamecube, and Wiimote controllers for emulation, or retro releases)

Is that charging through the console itself? I charge my Dualsense with my phone charger and I don't really notice it taking much longer than anything else. I have a million controllers though and have no issues playing with any other controller until the other ones are charged anyway.

Of course. MS ain't going to remove COD from Playstation... not any time soon. Gamepass marketing is what they want it for. They would put it on PS if Sony would let them.. but that's not going to happen. Maybe they try to use it as leverage... but I doubt it. It looks better for their own platforms to have people everywhere else spending $70 on it, while people on theirs can simply subscribe to GP.

The funny thing... is Sony says that COD is irreplaceable... but other developers are like... no, there's very obvious competition to COD. The difference is.... those developers release their games across multiple platforms......... .....nothing is stopping Sony from doing that with their own COD competitor

Anyone here play Alien's Fireteam Elite? I saw it on sale for $20 ($16USD) and decided to grab it. Was playing last night with some friends and it's pretty good. They just released an update which added cross-play as well, although there's no cross-progression unfortunately. What I mean though is that the game dynamically scales resolution and targets 30fps right? So I would think the hacked Switches are obviously using a mod for the game to unlock the FPS to get it to run at 60. But my question is that to get it to run at 60fps, the dynamic resolution scaling was likely turned off... otherwise the game would target higher resolution over faster framerate. Disabling it shouldn't be a problem, it would just force the game to run either at a static resolution of their choice (probably the lower bounds portable profile) so that it can actuall

Not quite yet... but probably will be very soon. Missing effects and things causing the cutscenes to crash. That could also bring performance down a bit when they get them functioning properly. Still though, seems like 30fps locked and higher resolutions is already easily on the table.

I'm surprised. Does it hold the higher bounds of resolution then? Because you would think it would be locked to 30 and the increased performance would push the resolution higher than anything else. It's probably just a mod though, right? Unlocks the FPS and disables the resolution scaling I imagine.
