  1. Seeing this game run at higher settings than PS4 at a locked 30fps on the Deck is something I tell ya.
  2. Yea I think they should have a good amount of stuff to show... but I mean when is it all launching? I'm excited for that Gears Collection that's supposedly in the works. That's great for us PC gamers since 2, 3, and Judgement never released on the platform. Forza will be there for sure... but we need to start seeing gameplay of Fable, Perfect Dark and other shit that's been announced since forever ago. Hellblade 2 should have something new to show as well. Maybe some actual combat and stuff. I dunno... despite me loving Gears and Forza... it's literally j
  3. No. Jim Ryan already stated in a phone call that this isn't including anything Bungie is working on.
  4. Hopefully this is them controlled leaking all the bad news out before hitting us with a good Xbox/Bethesda Games Showcase?
  5. Looks like there may actually be a Resident Evil 4 Remake announcement after all. People are speculating because Capcom is having a Resident Evil franchise sale right now. Kinda lines up.
  6. I didn't really have any expectation for that game in 2022.. so it's not much of a big deal to me personally. I am excited for it. Looks cool.
  7. I updated the thread title because I'm just going to throw this in hear instead of making a new thread just for it. https://steamcommunity.com/games/1593500/announcements/detail/3209389059277056822 Game received an update for FSR2.0. That's awesome shit. Gonna have to test to see how it works on the Deck.
  8. It's actually not even a proprietary slot... and its literally just an m.2 drive inside MS is definitely screwing the lemmings with that one lol
  9. That's insane. That same expansion card is over $500 in Canada On the plus side though... the Series consoles are just Gen3 capable drives.. and you can easily buy a USB enclosure for NVMe drives and get the full speed from them 2TB NVMe Gen 3 drives are like ~$190 in the US.
  10. Yea I'm going to be checking out a lot of Linux stuff. I've already seen some videos about setting the Deck up to essentially be a full desktop PC with all the main applications you'd want. And yea, I'm checking out all that stuff to set up EGS, GOG, and emulators. The built in Discover app already makes it braindead easy to install these emulators. This device is going to be so fucking sick
  11. Oh ok, yea I wasn't sure if you had one yet or not. I know you intended on getting one though eventually. And yea, SteamOS is improving a lot. I played around before I did the update, and the amount of stuff they've added and changed since then is incredible. There's even been a few new games Verified since this morning from my Library lol As for the download thing, I suppose I can understand why you feel that way, but that's more of an issue of where you live specifically. I know what it's like to have had shit internet while others have had incredible speeds even
  12. That's because there's a huge backorder Should have been faster dawg
  13. Just finished playing some Dirt 5. Man it looks and runs beautifully on the Deck. It also has an amazing amount of granularity with tweaking the visuals, so getting a locked framerate is pretty easy. Honestly, the update which allows you to set any refreshrate in 1hz increments from 40 to 60hz is a complete game changer.. allowing you to get the full benefits of vsynced locked framerates and refresh rates. List of things I'm going to buy: -USB-C hub with HDMI port and USB-A ports -512GB MicroSD card -Deck Shell for protection and screen pr
  14. Twinky... you're just fucking wrong. It literally is that plain and simple.
  15. Just getting it all set up and updated. There's quite a long "initialization" process, and then I had to download and install updates for the client, but it's pretty damn slick! Quick impressions of the hardware is that it feels awesome. IMO has just the right weight. It feels sturdy, and is much more comfortable to hold than the Switch is. Of course that should be expected since it's much less "pocket-able" than the Switch is. Downloading games is super fast. I'm hitting 35MB/s download speeds (which is the max for my ISP package 300Mbps).. and there's no indicati
  16. My Deck just got here. Let's fucking go!
