I understand both sides really... but I'd call it a first-person adventure game or action-adventure. I wouldn't really call it a FPS because that implies that shooting enemies is the main focus of the game. Yes, there are enemies to shoot, but Metroid is more about the exploration and finding items/equipment to progress through various environments.

It runs incredibly on my PC. I don't experience any stuttering at all. Mayyybe a one off frame drop every once in a blue moon, buy absolutely nothing that would detract from the game. It's literally locked 60 all the time. But I haven't seen everything yet lol.

Well, I was hoping it would be a Classic Trilogy Collection/Remaster available for Steam and all modern platforms.. but this is good too. I'm definitely going to buy and support these because I've been asking them to do this for a long time now. I'll also buy them on Steam when they eventually do a trilogy release there as well.

GamePass is the reason to keep Xbox console hardware going, at least for now. If GamePass starts to drop and lose subs, then I could see them scrapping hardware all together.. but again.. when they're releasing their games on all platforms... they don't need to sell 100M consoles to be successful.. you know that.. so it wouldn't be like the Dreamcast.. the Dreamcast never had 30-50M people locked into paying a subscriptions for online and games...

Hopefully Nintendo's next console and it's "joycons" use Hall Effect sensors for their Analog sticks so that we never have to worry about the drifting issue again. I would love to say I'm confident they will, but it's Nintendo, so I'm basically just remaining hopeful. I hope Nintendo has some kind of new functionality with them, although it's sounding more like just an evolution and nothing revolutionary.. but I'd like to see some innovation again.

No it wont be their Dreamcast. If Xbox already releases games everywhere, they don't live or die by how many consoles they sell. MS already has a core audience addicted to GamePass... they're probably going to be happy enough just selling a console to that group. The only way they could really fail at that point would be if 3rd parties completely stop supporting the console... but if it's a "PC Xbox" as some rumors suggest it could be.. then it will have support regardless. If GamePass subs suddenly crater, and they can't find any more growth there.. then they'll drop the consol
