  1. Yep. Basically any time I make some decent progression, like the bigger bosses, I go back to Roundtable and see if anything's changed there, and then go exploring back in previous places to see if anything has changed lol. Just finding new things all the times. The various notes and stuff you can buy that give you hints for certain things can be very helpful too. Just taking it all in
  2. Tell me about it. When you think you've seen it all and ask how much more there could possibly be... then you find an entire new area that is massive. It's an amazing feeling.
  3. Beat Godrick a while ago and started exploring the area to the north west. Went back to some places I'd already been to see if I could progress further or defeat enemies I couldn't before. Constantly finding new things I've missed. Yea, there's essentially mini-bosses in all of them.. sometimes multiple bosses. And some of them are complete bullshit
  4. Good. Yea no doubt. But he's a good test before Godrick.
  5. You have the Finger Seal equipped? You have to "memorize spell" at a Site of Grace to put them in their slots. Do you have enough Faith?
  6. If you've happened to miss the item for casting incantations (spells)... which is understandably easy enough to do in this game.. when you get to the Roundtable Hold, there's a merchant there who sells the item. You're looking for items called "Seals" The first would be the Finger Seal. That allows you to cast incantations. For sorceries you need a staff. You'll meet people who will teach you them. They'll either be in the world, and then appear at the Roundtable, or they'll already be there. But yea, it is a lot more "aimless" in a sense. You have to venture off, make small
  7. They're regular enemies. You don't even know what mini bosses in this game are yet
  8. @TLHBO Elden Ring running on the Deck.. looks fucking good. The game is fine on PC if you lock it to 45 or 30fps, in my experience anyway.
  9. So I've literally been exploring everywhere I can. I beat Margit easily enough when I went back to him. Stormville Castle is awesome.. This game is definitely challenging though. Gotta remember to keep going back to Roundtable and upgrading your equipment to stand a chance in some parts. FROM's level design is just impeccable. These legacy dungeons are massive and have all sorts of awesome shit scattered around.
  10. ^ Why would ANYONE take your opinion on the matter seriously.. You have no experience with PCs.. no experience playing handhelds. We've seen in clearly in the games that you own and have bought for PC. What's funny... is that you'll eventually buy a Steam Deck.... just to have some credibility when discussing how "bad it is" and that "it doesn't work".... Just like you have with multiple other things. And you'll do it, and pirate games on it as well. How do I know this? Well, because you're not going to be able to take the fact that people on this site
  11. ^ How about you just focus on actually playing a game once in a while
  12. "bubu if the Switch 2 came out last year "
  13. Dude, fuck off out of this thread with shitposting like this. Everyone else is playing the game and you're not... so you're not playing the game as good as anybody.
  14. It truly is omfg. I've got performance pretty sold locked at 45fps. It's actually pretty playable now.. but obviously not ideal. Some stutters still every now and then, but I can deal with it for now. The game itself though... there's no other game out there that matches the sense of discovery as this game, IMO. Obviously its still really early, but damn... it's addicting as fuck. I'm gonna be playing this shit all weekend
  15. lmfao... the answer is no. One site has one metric worse.. compared to another site. Let me know when an actual site with some credibility makes a comparison. This right here.... THIS is where we're at
  16. This game is SO fucking AWESOME. That's not an exaggeration either
  17. Ah I see. I think I'd rather have a comparison done by the same outlet to ensure like for like testing. So the display colors are a bit better... but that doesn't mean that the actual processing of those colors on Switch is better than on the deck. The display may be capable.. but it doesn't mean you're getting a more vivid accurate picture from the Switch.
  18. Yea the sickest thing about Valves implementation here is that games which use DirectX will have their shaders cached through Proton, so Valve can essentially create fully compiled shaders and distribute them along with the games. Not even DirectX in windows allows them to do that... at least not yet.
  19. Is it any worse than the original Switch?
  20. Yea, it seems like a great system-wide 30fps cap on the Deck. The software's only going to get better too. One disappointing thing though is that they don't have drivers out for Windows in time for launch... LMAO I know you won't give a shit about that... but I do. The OS is getting daily updates as well so things are going to be improving fast. Can't wait for this godly little device
