  1. I've actually put well over 100h into GoW on both PS4 and PC I'll probably play GoW:R day 1 simply because I have a PS4. If I didn't... then nah. And I certainly wouldn't buy a PS5 specifically for it. I could just as easily wait. There's very few games that would make me do that anymore. I just don't want to own multiple gaming platforms anymore. I've consolidated everything on PC.. and I'm happy enough to give platforms like Steam Deck a try, because they're an extension of the PC platform.
  2. I never said I'm accepting it. I called it out and it will either be fixed, or it wont. Not that any of this matters to you... because if you play Elden Ring as much as you played Demon's Souls... ie turning it on and then off again... then that would be an achievement for you. Considering you've never played the original Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, or Sekiro...
  3. Yea... I mean, I don't feel the need to run any play any of them the instant they come out. The only franchises that could do that for me are Zelda and mainline Mario. If I missed out on Zelda, I'd actually feel like I was missing out on something. I have a Switch though... This may surprise you, but Sony IP don't have that kind of effect on me. I could play them whenever. I don't feel like I'm "missing out" on Horizon: FW at all. I'm sure it's a great game, and I'll play it on PC eventually.. but there's tons of stuff I haven't played yet, or want to finish playin
  4. No trouble whatsoever. There's literally nothing on PS5 that I either haven't played before.... or that I couldn't just buy and play on PS4, if I was that desperate. haha.. what games can you play that I can't?
  5. With thousands of games, I don't find it that limiting... lol
  6. You're never looking that close at your characters face anyway.
  7. Yea I think a lot of people are hoping for that. Knowing them it will be full cell-shaded now because it's cheaper to produce.
  8. Elden Ring's character creator looks better than Demon's Souls on PS5 It's not even close either LOL
  9. https://www.capcom-games.com/countdown/ 9 hours left as of now. What are you guys hoping for the series? The biggest hope I have right now is that they don't pull another SF5 and have essentially no content in the game for the first year... That almost killed the series right there. They need to have a full featured Arcade, Versus, and Online modes day 1 with a sizable roster of characters day 1 as well. The competition can manage it... Capcom needs to do a HELL of a lot better than what they did with SF5. I wonder if the game will continue t
  10. For real. It's obvious they put a lot of effort and care into them. I almost feel bad not buying it at full price, to be honest. Maybe I still will, after I play Elden Ring.
  11. I asked Elajjaz (a prominent Soulsborne streamer who was one of the streamers invited to the event) how the performance was, and he said he didn't notice much stuttering at all, he said it was good.. and that a lot of the stuttering was apparently due to the stream and the OBS versions they were using which was causing the crashing... That's a relief. Hopefully they can patch the stutter and the PC version shines as it should
  12. Yeah it sucks. We'll have to see on Wednesday just how bad it really is when the reviews drop.
  13. Me neither. I'm interested in trying this, but like you, I'm going to wait for a sale. That said, Nightdive studios always do an incredible job with their remasters/conversions. Remaining faithful to the originals while providing lots of visual options and improvements. They're the first studio I'd pick to remaster a lot of these old classic games. Their engine works well on all platforms too.
  14. Looks like FROM are aware of the issue, and working on a fix. Yea, it sucks. As for the console versions, I've heard from reviewers that the PS5 version in Performance mode can drop frame hard as well.. down to around 30fps. Still though, dropping framerate is better than the game outright hitching as it does on PC... The console versions don't have that problem, as far as I've heard/seen.
  15. LMFAO... the LATEST thing you posted.... was from 2019 Did you read what I said clown? and you go and post shit from 2018/19 And let's look at what you posted... shall we? LOL Something about Gris selling 1 million copies and not mentioning Switch at all Here's Gris' Steam sales... The Celeste article you posted simply said it sold best on Switch... and didn't say by how much at all... In 2019 it had sold around 1 million copies all systems combined.. You posted a Dead Cells article
  16. You're not posting the tweets which you've spoken of.... There's a reason why you're not doing it, and instead are trying to run the argument around again. You're not making any point sweetie... You're stating nonsense, and I called you out on it... and you're failing to follow up.. Where are the recent tweets from developers speaking about sales of Switch indie's vs Steam?
  17. Probably didn't help things. But I think it was likely the switch to DX12 which has caused the issues... or the Easy Anti-Cheat implementation and DRM is fucking with it. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. If the clip I posted of the stream is how the game performs in general, when you're on the horse, or whatever... then it's completely unacceptable. There's no excuse for FROMSOFT to release the game in that state. Straight up.
  18. No I didn't. LMFAO... I said that devs said that in the beginning of the Switch's life... not now. Go and post all the developers saying that withing the last year. I want to see your twitter receipts....
  19. That was in the beginning. You don't see that anymore.. What the developers are telling us.... is that they're VASTLY developing more for PC, than any other devices. LMFAO if you think GABE FUCKING NEWELL is scared of the Nintendo Switch.... Obviously it's a successful product.. and it shows that people want to play bigger games on the go... and that's why Steam is doing it. It also furthers their ambitions of developing the platform outside of Windows. That's it... lmfao they're not worry about indie game developers
  20. uh, no lol.. But if that's what you want to tell yourself lol
  21. Except the deck... is largely for people who already have Steam accounts and games. That's one of the main selling features Gabe wants people to be able to play Steam on the go.. that's what Gabe wants. Not that you'd be playing anything anyway
  22. Tell that to literally every other platform... which gauges growth by that exact metric.
