  1. Trying to convince us you're not anxiously awaiting one of the two Nintendo "AAAe's" Sheep said Nintendo had coming for the rest of the year.. when we were laughing at how completely and utterly terrible your year has been Oh, and reviews don't matter.. good to know And now Jehurey's magically able to observe how a game plays.. when just a little bit ago he told me a person couldn't do that... amazing!
  2. Yup. It's dumb. That's the best way to describe it. I think you got it right when you said "It's a failed experiment" There's aspects to it which would make for a great game... But the story has to be worth the investment.. and in this case it simply wasn't. I think there's plenty of potential for this style of game though, and if another dev team takes the general concept and improves on it where this game failed... then you're in for a fun experience. I have no idea how it got a 9/10 from GS. I'd say a 7 or 6.5 from me personally. Good concept, flawed
  3. Yea, it's hard to have confidence in them when they keep disappointing in certain aspects. I think the switch to the semi-open nature of the campaign is what will help it. I know that on one hand it allows them to change things up a bit and give the player some more freedom in how much they discover.. and I think it should turn out fairly well for them if they give good items, lore and story reasons for searching out and completing side objectives. If it's just "clear this encampment" or that type shit over and over again with no return value, then there will be a problem. I thi
  4. Nah, I gotta have faith I think they'll pull through. The tech preview was fun as fuck. I think this campaign will be the best Halo campaign in ages. GS - 9/10 IGN - 8/10 Meta - 89 (I'll probably get fucked.. but I'ma ride or die ) FH5 will be the best reviewed MS game though this year I'm pretty certain.
  5. 12m and Psychonauts 2 are AAAs MSFS 2020 as well, and FH5 and Halo Infinite coming up
  6. You're right.. the graphics are all that actually matters in R&C ❤️
  7. Just shy of the greatest console of all time. Happy 30th Birthday SNES
  8. And you just reminded everyone you're STILL butthurt about me
  9. Yea, but that's not even factoring in Tobias Israel.
  10. Lmao cows avoiding this thread Best platformer this year was made by Xbox... poor Insomniac
  11. Let's fucking goooo https://www.gamespot.com/reviews/psychonauts-2-review-mind-over-matter/1900-6417718/
  12. The game does start off slow. It kind of expects you to absorb yourself into it's world and accept things as they are. For a lot of people that's a turn off because it's too slow paced in the beginning... but as you begin building up the network and unlocking new equipment, the traversal becomes much less tedious and finally once you start mastering how to travel the games environments, you can find some pretty inventive ways to do things. But yea, it requires some patience in the beginning, that's for sure. If you don't like that aspect of it, then that's totally understandable
  13. Yeah real talk... I want to play the Director's Cut content. I see some of the stuff they added making quite a positive impact on the game. Yea, if you've never played this game before.. the DC will be the time to do it.
  14. You put in $1000..... That's not a shit ton.. even if it quadruples... or quintuples..
  15. I haven't fully checked it all out either, but I remember them saying that all this new stuff is integrated into the game, so you'll naturally find it as you go through... so it's not something that's going to be sort of separate off the main path or anything.. you'll have to play the game again to find it. I think the new stuff sounds awesome though. Different weapons, different vehicles, and items like the package cannon or whatever. That shit seems awesome to me. I was just scrolling through my twitter and Kojima was talking about it, and it just reminded me how much I enjoye
  16. I'm getting the itch to play Death Stranding again. I dunno, I just feel like doing some hiking across rugged terrain while carrying and balancing some packages you know? I'm interested in DS:DC though. I'll probably check it out the extra stuff they added on youtube. Probably going to be pretty cool QoL stuff. My thing is that I don't know if I should do it now or just wait a bit longer to see if the Director's Cut update comes to PC. It likely will, so I may just save the next playthrough for that.
  17. Oh I agree. That's what my problem has been with the whole thing.. and I even said before that I doubt this game was EVER truly expected to be a Series console launch title. They just weren't anywhere close. Co-op undoubtedly should have been ready by now. That doesn't change. However, all I'm saying is that I'm more understanding of the issues now, because I didn't really consider that this wasn't a traditional point to point Halo game up until now. That doesn't excuse them... because they should have been thinking about and figuring all this out during development
