  1. I'm more understanding of the co-op delay now. It sucks it didn't make it for launch, but it's not like they cancelled it either. There's totally the option of just playing MP for free and enjoying that if you like until the co-op comes to the Campaign. If you're THAT interested only having the co-op experience... you'll wait 3 months and buy the game then... it's not like you have to buy the game and wait until they launch the co-op.. You can still play MP, so that's good. Like others have said though, it SHOULD have been there at launch, but seeing as how this is a
  2. Yea, that's another thing about the game... I have no idea why they needed to have James, Daisy and William voice these characters... Literally anyone could have voiced these characters and sounded the same. It's not that the acting is bad... but the game's animations and gameplay would make the acting sound disjointed regardless of how well the actors delivered the lines. It's the writing and gameplay/pacing which affect the acting voicework quality more than anything else. Which is why I say it could have been done with anybody and it would have suited the game just
  3. Yes, you need to gather the information first. Once you have the required information, it opens up the dialogue trees to speed up the process and allow you more time to experiment past that point. The whole idea about every loop is to gather more information and to utilize what you know to alter future events.
  4. Apparently the co-op has been delayed because with the way the open world and mission structure works being able to do certain objectives in any order you want has lead to some issues. Basically they're having issues in that 4 players could split up and do multiple mission objectives at once, triggering different scenes and causing issues with how it flows for the other players. There's issues with how the checkpoint system works in that case, and they're trying to figure out how to keep everyone together. And you know... now that I've heard that... it makes sense. It's understa
  5. lmao... no. Halo Infinite will DEFINITELY be the better package game. BF is trash. Dunnn dun du dun dunnnnn
  6. I have 255 games on EGS. 4 of which I've bought
  7. Nah, It's just another disappointment from them. This has nothing to do with me... this is them and what they promised... not meeting my expectation.
  8. I think it's completely fair if this lowers the score for some people. I personally know people who are going to be really disappointed by this news as they were planning on playing co-op first time through. Co-op Campaign is a part of Halo's identity. I also understand your stance though. It's understandable that it's not a big deal at all to you.. and that's fine. But I think we need to be honest about this game's development... It's not really acceptable that they're removing key franchise features from launch AFTER the game had already been delayed for
  9. I'll have more thoughts later. There's some stuff I really like.. and then some stuff I kinda really don't.
  10. That's my issue. I never had any intentions to play Halo Infinite's campaign in co-op... but it's just the fact that the game is coming out a year later... and they're cutting out features that were supposed to be there day 1 last year.... I haven't watched the Dev update video yet... but I wouldn't be surprised if they're just holding back these "features" to make their "Season updates" bigger and more impactful. I dunno, but at this point that's how I feel. Honestly speaking as a fan... I fucking LOVED the beta... I have no doubts it's going
  11. Pathetic... can you IMAGINE if this launched last year? ... still "committed to holiday release"...
  12. It's fine on PC with the mouse and keyboard I think... but honestly it's a bit more janky than I was expecting. It can also seem really disjointed at times... like WTF... but really you have to just keep on playing and trying things to work through the story. We stopped a bit earlier and will finish it tomorrow night. I like it... but unless something changes tomorrow.. I don't think it's a 9/10 game.
  13. This game is looking crazy. Was UE4, now it's switched to UE5. There's so much variety to it. This is one of the most impressive looking games out there in development currently. Hopefully they can polish it up nicely. This could be a massive hit. Chinese developers are going to be a problem in the future.
  14. As a general rule, now, yes of course. With 2.0 and some versions of 2.1, there could still be some edge cases where there might be a slight bit of ghosting, or other artifacts... but even then the visuals are essentially native 4K quality.. But the newest versions of DLSS, 2.1~ and 2.2, ghosting is essentially unnoticeable, and it's at the point now where there's far less ghosting with DLSS than there is even with TAA at native resolutions. So yea, enable that shit... it's free performance nowadays.
  15. Yep, higher refresh rates are always better than more resolution. Native 4K made sense... when it wasn't possible to generate a near perfect (or in some cases better than native) 4K image from a lower resolution. Now... if you're not using a lower resolution and reconstructing it... you're doing it wrong. There's simply smarter ways to do things now. Native 4K is a massive waste of resources. Downsampling is nice though. Downsampling from 4K to a 2K monitor produces a very pleasing image. More resolution helps the image become more temporally stable.. which is alwa
  16. It is. On the Steam Store page there's a "Download Demo" on the right side around the add to cart button. It comes with the benchmarks and you don't have to pay for them.
  17. Just keep everything default (use the restore button if you feel you messed it all up) but change: DSR factors (downsampling) Check the box 2.25x. (2.25x = 4K on a 1440p monitor) Low Latency Mode = Ultra Set Gsync to "On Fullscreen and Windowed Mode" And that's it. You can force your Anisotropic Filtering to 16x if you wish as well. Most games will automatically do it.. but some older games require it to be forced and it can make a huge difference.
  18. Yep, definitely early/mid October. There was a rumor just a few days ago about it being October. Seems likely now.
  19. I've got a second SFF PC and I don't need a 2080ti in it. Nah not yet. When I buy my 3080ti I'll sell the 2080ti afterwards. I'm thinking next month. I'm definitely going to have one before all the big fall/holiday games hit.
  20. Also, that COD trailer was garbage. I'm tired of these fucking war shooters using CGI for their games. I know COD had spliced CGI and gameplay visuals... but it's just annoying at this point. Just show us what your fucking game looks like.
