This isn't a Game Pass issue.. this is a SquareEnix issue... and until SquareEnix reveals the financials of the game... it's pure speculation. The developer estimates that 2-3 million copies were sold... and that they should be profitable by a certain date. That date has passed and they still haven't been paid... so either it simply hasn't reached the target that the developer assumes, or it ended up costing more than the developer knows. Demos simply had more value back then. When you bought a game, you were really committing to it in those days.. and without a game magazine to read to give you some idea of what you were getting you really didn't know.. You had to go out and buy it because most everything was still physical at that time. It was your only real ability to try the game before you made the decision. Yea, I have a feeling it will be around 7 as well. The only way I can see it scoring any better is if there's some big payoff or twist or something that nobody sees coming. I have a feeling the repetitiveness of the gameplay and limited scope of the game may turn some people off. Hopefully the actors performances carry it through and it remains interesting for the entire game.
