Sony really should have just bit the bullet with this release and just demanded it from games going forward.

As for their strategy regarding regional issues... man... it would be in their best interest to simply allow any Steam accounts from those regions to bypass the PSN requirement as they are currently.  Only make PSN sign in a requirement in countries which officially support it.

This whole shit is a stupid overreaction. All major companies require accounts for MAU tracking. Everyone is okay with MS, Ubi, EA, etc. asking for accounts but want to die when Sony asks them to use 3 minutes to create an account. If I'm Sony I'm looking extremely cautiously about bringing more games to PC after this fiasco. Sure, I'll still bring my GAAS games to PC but definitely won't be speeding up the release of my prestige SP titles on the platform.

Nah, that shit wont have any affect on that at all man.  Sony know it's because they enforced it after the fact... not that it's required in the first place.

I saw a tiktok today with a guy giving his opinion on this shit.. and I basically agree with him 100%.

He basically said the reason why vibes around Drake are beginning to change because this motherfucker is overstaying his welcome.  Dude is like 37 years old and trying so hard to be in with this younger generation that basically people are tired of him being in the position he's in.  So basically this whole bad boy tough rapper persona, that people know isn't really who Drake is, is starting to wear on people.  Like he's 37 and he's hanging around with young dudes in their late teens early twenties and shit and still trying to "play the part" and ride new waves.  He said basically there's always exceptions to rules and some stay relevant for longer than others.. but nothing lasts forever, nor should it.  So when Kendrick comes and is talking his shit about Drake, it hits, because it's obvious this motherfucker is starting to overstay his welcome doing what he's doing at his age.

MS, EA, Ubisoft all require accounts to play their games on Steam and no one bats an eyelid. Sony asks for people to create a free PSN account that requires only 2 minutes to do so and these retards start riots lol. Bunch of idiots. This was apparently always supposed to be the case, and the game store page said that a PSN account would be required.. 

IMO, again, this is no big fucking deal.  It's something you might as well just get used to because all of these multiplayer games that are cross-platform are going to require it.

In fact, I'd like it if Steam came with a built in account manager, so you basically just link your accounts to your Steam account, then any game which requires a log-in just queries your Steam account and logs in with the associated account automatically.
