I never said that newer games would load slower too lmao.. there's no words to eat there. Series X is faster in BC game loading... which is surprising really. Next gen games will at best load a few seconds faster on PS5.

One of the most annoying things about STEAM is when you go to download/install a game and it needs to pre-allocate the space on your drive before it can start. With the newest STEAM beta update, they've drastically reduced this process.. to where it's essentially all but gone. Yep. It's becoming quite clear this was just a complete paper launch from Nvidia. The real card will be that 3080 Super 20GB. They aren't producing mass amounts of these things. They probably wanted to react to what AMD has coming with a Super line up with more VRAM and then produce those cards in high numbers and charge a bit more for them. All the people who got the non super cards are going to be pissed.. because they're going to release within 3 months of AMDs launch.

Well it's true. MS did this to themselves by not having anything ready for launch. Fast load speeds and improved visuals for BC games is cool and all, but they dropped the ball hard with Halo. There's good stuff coming in the pipeline, but it's quite a ways out yet. MS needs to show off Perfect Dark, and Hellblade 2 soon... and they best look spectacular..

Steam has one built in. But I'm not sure what the issue is when a single 3rd party utility takes care of it for all games lol.. Is this REALLY an issue?
