I think so, eventually. When they did the PC version they started fixing a lot of the issues with the console versions at the same time. MCC has done incredibly well on PC, but they definitely dropped the ball when it mattered for the console version as Diplo said.

How THE FUCK do they not have Halo MCC and Gears 5 BC ready by this point? Actually just thinking about it... it's probably because they're going to have patches ready to enhance those games. I wouldn't be surprised to see 120fps mode for Halo MCC with other improvements from the PC version as well. Still though... pretty fucked up

Absolutely crazy. The game apparently broke Steam for a bit when it released so it's not really surprising. Must have been just a massive amount of people at one time.

Yea. Death Stranding in Ultrawide with DLSS looks fucking stunning. But yea, obviously DLSS is not in the vast majority of games out there, so it probably shouldn't be a reason to choose one GPU over the other anyway. We'll have to see what AMD brings. They might surprise me, but I can't see them beating Nvidia.

DLSS 2.X has multiple modes. They recently added an "Ultra Performance" mode which uses a 9x multiplier. Ultra Performance = 9x (720p at 4K) Performance = 4x (1080p at 4K) Quality = 2x (~1440p at 4K) Of course the lower quality modes will be worse. Quality usually looks better than native, and Performance usually looks just a tiny bit worse than native but still far better than 1440p native. Ultra Performance is really only suitable for 8K since otherwise you don't have enough native pixels to make the image look great.

Same as it is on PC. I just timed the same mission on my PC with a 3.5GB/s Gen 3 NVMe at 4.5 seconds. Changed the video to show both Mission 2 and Mission 13 loading times

It's objectively the worst launch lineup ever that MS has had.. as far as next gen stuff goes lmao. I thought there would at least be SOME of the next gen 3rd party games ready.. but there isn't. I was hoping the Medium would be launching with the Series X because I want to play it on PC.. but it's sounding like December or something. And even then, while for me personally it's doing some cool stuff and looks visually nice. It's certainly not a big budget next gen game. Xbox owners are going to have to wait a bit for that. No Forza, No Halo, nothing next gen only. At least

Yea, it's unfortunate, but honestly expected. Their current CPUs are selling incredibly well. They're gaining marketshare. Mindshare is higher than it's been in ages. And now they're better than the competition in all areas. They're starting to price their products relative to the competition now instead of just the value proposition. I believe AMD deserves it to some extent.

I do. Honestly, they have a lot of good IP to work with. I think it's POSSIBLE.. but they have a lot of work ahead.
