Wow great prices for the 3070 and 3080. Navi must be competitive. Good shit. I can't watch the presentation because I'm at work, but it sounds fucking awesome. The 3090 will be mine PS. I told Jon that the 3070 would be faster than the 2080ti The 2070 and 2080 are next gen equivalents and 2070s will start selling for like $350.. -
Yes... the pathogens very much can.

There's unlikely to be much real world difference between them.. but the 2TB capacity is definitely a win for Sabrent. Will be interesting to compare them since they have different controllers. -
Not really. The bacteria starts growing immediately. It's bad enough at room temperature, but inside a vehicle? lmao... Not like he's gonna die or anything though lol

Sometimes though you gotta admit, if they'd just shut the fuck up and listen to orders, they'd be shot far less lol -

A lot of games loading times can be depended on CPU cores and how many cores the game utilizes to decompress the data. TW3 loaded really fast on my old CPU with 8 threads.. so I'd like to think that Cyberpunk is more advanced and has new and improved streaming tech so a 16/24 thread CPU should be even better. But yea, it will be interesting though in comparison with the current gen consoles and the next gen consoles. -
I'm not from the US, but you can bet your ass I'm worried for you guys down there. No matter which way it goes, things are going to get real messy. It sucks seeing the country like this. If you motherfuckers just worked together and were actually united like the name suggests, you're easily the greatest nation in the world and would be unstoppable.. but sadly you're not. Systemically divided, and honestly fundamentally rotten to the core. Obviously a lot of what's happening is necessary to promote and encourage the change needed, but it's just gonna get really messy and could tear the cou

lmao trust me, people will realize the QoL improvements the SSD brings right away... they'll just also realize how terrible the old consoles are in comparison. It will literally be unbearable to use the old consoles after using the PS5/XSX for any amount of time. -
Phil is a good guy damnit

I wonder what will be the first certified SSD for use with the PS5? I'm not sure if any of these first generation Gen 4 SSDs will be... though they presumably do have the extra headroom, if we're going by uncompressed throughput anyway. -

That'll cost damn near the price of a PS5 all on its own lol -
I love Phil for bringing Xbox back around to the PC. Even if it was out of necessity for them to keep Xbox afloat within the company. But there's no denying that he fucks up a lot. You're right... Halo Infinite is completely his fuck up. There's NO WAY any of this should have happened.. This new engine, all the extra years of development.. that should have all been to ensure that the game was as spectacular as possible. He should have had his entire focus on this game. Bonnie Ross should have been fired on the spot. But it seems like Phil's too scared to fire a woman these days.

Yep. This is one of my questions. I can't see Sony investing die space specifically for something that would not improve games in all aspects. Which is what leads me to believe that they'll simply double the amount of cores and call it a day. It also works to an advantage with their RT implementation IMO. I still don't think we know enough about RDNA2 or PS5's implementation yet to be sure, but it stands to reason from what we know that doubling the CUs will give devs access to 2x the GPU resources to work with in any way they choose. For older PS5 games, they could easily double perform

https://wccftech.com/samsung-980-pro-pcie-4-0-ssds-official-with-up-to-1-tb-capacities/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Also worth noting that these new SSDs utilize a new custom Samsung controller called "Elpis" whereas the 970 featured their "Phoenix" controller. Not sure what the differences are but the Phoenix controller has 5-cpu cores. Presumably the new controller will have more cores, or more powerful ones.

I'm very interested in seeing how Sony will handle a potential PS5 Pro. I have so many thoughts right now based on how RT is implemented in the PS5, but I'm going to wait until we see RDNA2 on PC before I draw any conclusions. PS5 Pro could simply be a case of doubling cores and calling it a day, or it could be something quite a bit more interesting than that. I want to see if RDNA2 on the PC side can give any clues :)
