  1. Finished Halo CE earlier this morning. I still love it but man it gets to be a slog when your running back through the same 10 exact looking floors and bridges. Gonna start on Halo 2 a bit and continue Death Stranding later on.
  2. Good. Your posts are shit anyway. Grow up a bit.
  3. Sure they are.. add on packs are a add on to extend the life of the original battery which can't be changed and thus the battery in the controller will lose it's charge faster as time goes on and cant be replaced. Xbox One battery kits replace the worn out battery and thus when you replace them, you're fixing the fact that the original batteries wont hold their charge anymore. DS4 is like (--------) .... then you buy a battery pack and after a time it's (---)+ (-----) XO is like (----------------) and then after a time you replace it and it's (----------------) again.
  4. Jesus man... you're hopeless... look how "hard" you make screwing in a standoff and drive screw in sound.. OMG so there's this spacer I HAVE to screw in... and THEN there's ANOTHER step of laying the drive on the stand off... FOLLOWED BY the final screw.. which I have to screw in for the drive.... Yes there's a spacer... because every mobo manufacturer's placement of their drives and the height off the motherboard is different.. which is why its included with the motherboard and not the drives when you buy them..... And yes... the manual DO
  5. Nah, I disagree. Even in its worst day it's not as bad as the DS4. And the older 360 controllers used bigger, much less efficient rumble motors and wireless connection. Newer controllers are much more efficient. Hell, even the newer bluetooth enabled XO controllers are more power efficient than the original ones. Also despite your complaint about Dynamite bringing up a 3rd party battery pack/charge kit... the fact is that you CAN do that with Xbox controllers.. but not with DS4. I mean the fact that there's add-on packs for DS4 battery life should tell you that ther
  6. Any play and charge kit XO battery will last longer than any Dualshock 4. It's not a secret Sony's DS4 battery life is pathetic. Speculating that DS5 could be similar or worse is understandable... I don't see why you're making a big deal about it.. the controller has more features than before.. so until Sony prove otherwise, nothing wrong with being skeptical.
  7. Dude... that's not the screw you use... that's for the heatsink... There's a separate screw IN THE BOX (not attached to the motherboard) to screw the m.2 drive down. If you have a drive with an existing heatsink... you simply remove the mobo heatsink and screw in the drive..... cmon dude... this is the most basic shit possible...
  8. Yea, but I mean, the option to turn it off for literally every other application would have done wonders lol
  9. Yea, like a wasteful gigantic lightbar that needlessly drains battery power.
  10. It's good to see them do this. There's really no reason anymore to artificially block things off. If a game can be designed around a controller in addition to mouse and keyboard, it should be. Of course, the best thing is supporting both input styles on both devices. No reason not to anymore really. For multiplayer games, just make sure people link up with others using the same input method.. or allow them to choose. Microsoft should be all about offering everything to all of their platforms... and that's the road they're heading down.
  11. Complete noobs.. me neither. Is Twinblade a complete noob though? Regardless.. oh no.. had to spend $5 for a fan splitter... big whoop I'm more curious about the screw that apparently wasn't included with his, but was included with mine. I bet that dumbass thinks it's not included because it wasn't screwed into any of the holes.. when it's actually in a clear plastic package in the box.... which the manual clearly states..
  12. Working on Halo CE, just got to 343 Guilty Spark. This game is still so good... but it's definitely true that there's a lot of copy paste environments/corridors.. Things were different back in the day sure, but yea definitely more noticeable these day. I also really hope they're able to go back and fix the frame interpolation in the cutscenes and some effects. I know the engine is older, but running at 60fps+ some of the cutscenes look weird with 60fps+ camera movement and 30fps animations. Halo 3 is much improved in this regard so possibly they've figured out a better solution and hopef
  13. how you think they're going to have AIO coolers with 2 or 3 fans, as well as 2 chassis fans? cmon now Now go find that screw that was included with your motherboard... because it was with mine
  14. A lot of the new fans now also have daisy chaining as well. Meaning only one cable connected to the header and then the fans slot into each other and are powered from the one cable. It's so much easier/better now.. lmao I dunno what the hell he's complaining about
  15. That's THE SAME MOTHERBOARD AS ME... and I'm fucking telling you the board comes with the screw and 4 fan headers See the blue fan headers??? 4 of them. One for the CPU and 3 for whatever else you want.
  16. What motherboard do you have?... I asked you and you never mentioned it.. I think you're full of shit. And yes, it should have a screw. If the mobo is quality enough that it has it's own heatsink over the M.2 slot, then it should definitely have the screw.
  17. Huh? Didn't you get the same mobo as me? What mobo do you have? It should definitely have the screw. -My $200 x570 mobo came with 4 fan connectors.. -You should research more on the shit you buy breh, that's YOUR bad. -Again.. every case is different... it's your fault for not researching cases that are easier to work in. I mean I simply can't agree with your assessment that these parts are shoddily put together... they're much better and solid than they've ever been. You decided to buy now... knowing full well that prices are currently inflated. I dunno what el
  18. Oh, yea I see what you mean. I should have clued in better... but yea, I agree completely. It's a much better design IMO. The compartmentalized cases offer better cable management, better thermals due to less ambient air in the compartment that houses the mobo/cpu/gpu.. It gives better direct airflow over the parts that need it. Yea yea cases are becoming more and more like that.
  19. I doubt it will be any worse than the DS4... so there's really nothing to talk about. Could be better, but definitely wont be worse.
  20. Not quite sure what you mean about the motherboard no longer having to sit deeper into the case? I mean, every case is different, but the main benefit of most quality motherboards now is that the I/O shield is incorporated onto the motherboard itself, so you no longer have to install a stupid I/O plate onto the case manually. What is a backside crawlspace?
