This coming gen will be no different than the past gens in that regard man. Developers who are known for it will always prioritize visual fidelity over framerate on consoles. That said... there'll be a lot of 60fps games too.

No... by far the biggest most exciting thing is UE5 and the fact that artists will no longer have to author multiple LODs for game assets. They can simply import from Zbrush or CAD and the system automatically adjusts poly budget based on resolution. This will vastly improve the quality of in game models, as well as make development FAR more efficient and cost effective for developers.
