This game is awesome. I've got around 30 hours into it now and having just finished up the first area I decided to head into to the second area. Took out another big Golem, and a Griffin along the main path. I'm starting to get pretty good at destroying Griffins. This one I finished off in a single encounter before it could fly away. On my way to town it started turning to night time, and in the distance I could see a campfire burning and was like YES! I need to rest up and cook some grub to get some stat boosts.. and just as I was getting there, I got ambushed by a gro

This is a huge deal. They're slowly getting all of this functionality online and making it all much more performant. 5.5 will probably be out towards the end of the year. Now realistically, this is what the engine should have been able to do they launched it... but it's clear the way they're developing and designing the engine has changed to facilitate more organic updates. Wouldn't surprise me if The Coalition has access and is working hand in hand with Epic on building Unreal Engine 5.x and that their game will make use of all the added functionality. UE5.4 also has huge perf

It's definitely cool tech. Would be awesome to play indie games with modern graphics with the 3D effect. They could also do a better job of it now than they did back then on the 3DS, as good as it was back then too. But I'm indifferent. Doesn't matter to me what they do.

It's expected... but don't act like it's easy. MS has games from the 360 era, and OG Xbox era.. Those are all vastly different architectures. Sony has their own challenges due to how games run on their hardware and functions. Nintendo would have their challenges too if they wanted to include hardware based support for previous console generations before the Switch..

-Most games are "dynamic 4K" -Stellar Blade doesn't have RT at all.. HB2 likely uses Lumen -Those corridor sized levels are far more demanding -Those enemies have vastly higher amounts of detail than Stellar Blade -The visual effects are on a complete other level It's on another level technically. It's shaders are far more complex and impressive... which is why it's computationally intensive.

Look.. we all understand that Microsoft is probably on their way out of dedicated console hardware... but if there's a problem, and they want to fix it.. they've got to axe people and see if new people can fix it... What this signals to me though.. is that they're drastically changing course on hardware.. essentially getting out.. and they need new people to facilitate it. So basically my point is... People leaving MS is just as much a sign that things could improve as it is that they're finished. Firing people is what they need to do... but at the same time.. it shows

It's not a bad thing, but as a sequel the game really needs to build upon what was there in the first game. The mechanics of the game should evolve. There's nothing wrong with focusing on telling a good story.. but they're basically failing to take the game to the next level by keeping it so similar to the first one. I was hoping they'd expand this IP and build it up to be a big blockbuster for them.

Yea. It should go back to the all orange one I made, unless people want something different? @Alphonse Here it is just incase you don't have it anymore.

The Official "What Are You Playing?" Thread (Post Screens)

From what I've read it's really like the game doesn't respect a players time at all. You know, all they really had to do was keep it nice and narrow and focused. Have some wider open areas to explore on your ways between each location... keep the pacing nice and brisk. But it sounds like they wanted to flesh out and do a lot of extra shit and just didn't have anyone to tell them to reign it in. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the impression I get from the various stuff I've read and seen of it. Like 40-50 hours per each game in the trilogy would be great. 70-80? ...that -

WRONG. The Nintendo Switch changed what portable gaming could be, but the Steam Deck, the best handheld gaming PC, brought it to a new level, -
Has anyone hacked their switch to boost clock speeds yet?

No. It fits with YOU being a complete hypocrite. It's fine for Switch nerds to haxkzing their Switches to overclock, but not PC players tinkering with an ini file... You're the biggest hypocrite on this forum. Kinda like how you stalked my twitter for months taking pictures of my tweets and running here claiming how much pathetic I was for tweeting to Alex ... and yet you cheer on Firetard being a complete fucking fanboy lunatic on his twitter retweeting every PS fanboy in existence and posting retarded lemming memes in every interation.. We all know you're THAT -

I'm 100% the type of person to lecture your bitch ass about overclocking your Switch. And the only reason why Sheep aren't also editing ini files is because they can't. LOL that was easy! -
