I mean I get him saying Deck owners are owned if they were expecting something new fairly soon, like say next year against the Switch 2. That makes sense... but I don't think anyone here was expecting Deck 2 to release next year.. so nah.. and it's like I said.. people's Steam libraries aren't going anywhere. They can upgrade next year to whatever the new PC handheld hotness is and be happy if they want. Or they could just buy a Switch 2 and upgrade from the Deck to the Deck 2 whenever it releases. It was underwhelming but there was a good foundation there to build off of. Wish it would have done well enough to get a sequel. And this is the problem with AAA gaming today... You miss the mark once and you and/or your studio are done. The game still sold over 2 million, but it wasn't enough... it needed to sell 5M... come the fuck on.. If you need your game to sell 5M copies and it's a new IP... you're taking extraordinary risk. Especially with a horror game..
