  1. Ah, so apparently Capcom confirmed there ARE in fact safe rooms. OXM were mistaken because some rooms have typewriters but aren't actually "safe rooms" which have the classic music. So Nemesis still can't enter the rooms which play the music. Kinda sucks for me personally... but maybe they'll consider adding that to the harder modes? Would be cool.
  2. I stole this from ResetERA, but anyway... SPOILERS.. and I'm going to enlarge and bold the first point, because some might like it... and others might not, and I wonder what people will think about it. OXM say what they've played so far is "extraordinary", and if the rest of the game can keep up the quality of the 2-3 hours they played, it's going to become a classic Resident Evil game. Bring it on
  3. Turns out that it was the voice actress who plays Dina (Shannon Woodward) who introduced Craig Mazin to Neil Druckmann. I find that real fucking interesting.. and incredibly cool. It sounds like maybe Shannon spoke with Craig about the potential of TLOU and how good Neil Druckmann would be to work with.
  4. My argument isn't whether it could be done or not... I simply said it's better served as a TV series and fleshed out.
  5. I think the characters and world building deserve more than 2h to be done justice. Also, it's quite obviously going to be based on the entire story.. so not just Part 1, but Part 2 as well... There's going to be far more to it than what we know at this point. 2h could never do it justice breh.
  6. https://www.pcgamer.com/iam8bit-was-working-on-reinvigorating-e3-but-has-quit-the-project/ E3 is still going forward apparently. But I think it will ultimately be cancelled by COV19. Pubs and devs will abandon it because of that reason. Then they will learn that they can save a lot of money just by doing things online like everyone else is learning this year.
  7. lol... I just said it's dead. I'm pretty sure I see the writing on the wall. It's not dead because of Sony... or Geoff.... it's dead because COV19, this 8bit group resigning will absolutely delay it... and given the concerns already about COV19... they'll all pull the plug. It's not worth the effort anymore. Did the ESA not hire these guys? Them quitting now possibly suggests that they no longer want to go the route this 8bit group wants to go... which could be part of what pissed off industry players like Sony and Geoff. Or is there something
  8. WHO FUCKING CARES? lmao... 2:1 is all that needs to be said.
  9. No... because the ESA was GOING TO DO IT THIS YEAR.... That just shows that Sony and Geoff bailing out had nothing to do with it not happening this year..... The COV19 is what will kill it... These 8bitfuckers are possibly part of the reason why Sony and Geoff bailed...
  10. E3 would continue under different creative directors..... Maybe these guys are being forced out because their influencer oriented bullshit wasn't being accepted by the industry? But this will set E3 back... and adds to the reality that the coronavirus will cause many of the companies involved to no longer want to be a part of it... and they will all do their own thing... and realize that they too, don't need it. COV19 killed it
  11. The Coronavirus killed E3... damn. I can't see it coming back. This will be the year that publishers understand that they don't need it and can do other things. Real talk... RIP E3. So many good memories from over the years.
  12. I think they play a lot of it by ear depending on the IP. They'll have a good idea of when the saturation point is met. I think 1.5 - 2 years later would be alright. I think Sony has been using their smaller IPs and games like Death Stranding and Detroit, to slowly get their console fanbase used to the idea of their games coming to the PC platform at a later date.. and that it's actually a great thing for them as it will directly benefit games and new IP that they will continue to get first and foremost. Sony could be making a LOT more money than they already are. Once they are
  13. Indeed. Sony said they were going to be making Movie and TV shows out of their franchises in an effort to built the world wide appeal of their IPs. "Playstation Productions" was made for exactly that... and you can bet they are going to look at every avenue possible to expand their reach... Bringing their older games to platforms like PC as well as PS Now on multiple devices, you can tell their plan is to use TV and Movies to expand their audience and "extended platforms" to reach more of that potential market. -Release IP exclusive to PS consoles -Bui
  14. I'm confident they'll make good choices. Neil being directly involved takes away a lot of the concern I'd have otherwise.
  15. Yep. Considering the people/companies involved... this will be the best it could possibly be, imo. It could also end up being a HUGE show. This will be something that not just gamers get into... but everyone. With HBO, you know it's going to be violent and mature as fuck.
  16. I'm interested in seeing how much they are going to flesh this out... especially with the knowledge of the world building/lore that TLOU2 will bring with it. It gives them an amazing opportunity to utilize that extended world building to their advantage from the very beginning.
  17. It will be MUCH better as a TV show than it could ever be as a movie.
  18. 1. Patents. Do. Not. Equal. Product. 2. I agree.. but maybe Sony figured out a cooling solution 3. Insiders also say best believe it 4. Could have something to do with their memory subsystem and SSD implementation. Bandwidth will play an important role. I've heard they do.. and that they've known they do for a while now.
  19. That's a tough one. But I think I might prefer the Octopath style for a Chrono Trigger Remake, but with higher quality pixel art and way more frames of animation. Something like this on OPT style backgrounds:
