Dude.. They use that time to further optimize and remove bugs.. Devs ALWAYS want more time to do that shit. And yes... they delay every version... because the game was announced for every platform. If you release one version, the others will likely get the game spoiled for them, and will be pissed off. That timeframe was crowded as fuck anyway with too many good games. It's for the best that they do this anyway.

They're much better in multi threaded stuff... and as for games, they are good enough to the point where you realistically wouldn't notice too much of a difference on anything but the highest end GPUs and at 1080p resolution... lol So yea, they're basically as good or better than them, and their value is completely obliterating Intel. It's becoming "cool" to like AMD again. Not to mention... Intel keeps fucking up. They're having trouble with moving over to PCIe4.0 too so that's another thing AMD will have over them for the foreseeable future. It's hilarious, becau

I think it was delayed by both... but especially Xbox One. There's no shame in that. It's just got a fucked up memory config which could be giving the devs problems so they might have to be working through it and it's taking a bit longer than expected. Let's be real... the game is going to perform like shit on consoles anyway. Probably drops to the mid to low 20's throughout... but it should hopefully be such a cool game that nobody will give a shit. Kinda like Shadow of the Colossus. You can look past shit if the game is really pushing the envelope on the hardware

https://www.altchar.com/game-news/cyberpunk-2077-delayed-because-of-current-gen-consoles-new-source-claims-aRRcH8e4RHYT from a polish insider. lmao... despite CDPR claiming that this game was developed from the ground up for current gen consoles... I knew it was complete bullshit. The game was CLEARLY more ambitious than current gen consoles were capable of. Which is exactly why I said that it would eventually be cancelled for them and moved to next gen.. Of course, they aren't going to miss out on 130+ million consumers and will downgrade the fuck out of the game...

^yea it's a year+ old internal built used to help the team. It's apparently come a long way since then. Also, Sony's not even trying to hide the PC version... they mention it right on their own website alongside the PS5 https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/godfall-ps5/ jfc what world are we living in?? lol

Oh shit... an Xbox Series X prototype is out in the wild apparently
Remij replied to Remij's topic in System Wars
Well, it's a prototype. I don't think the final thing will be like that. I mean, the material will definitely be higher quality I would think. I wonder what the dev kits look like? -
Yea I remember hearing about that. Sony's definitely doing their own thing with regards to the controller I'm sure. Like Cerny said though.. it's not JUST the throughput of the SSD (controller) it's the software stack and I/O mechanisim itself. Sony's going to have a custom filesystem and custom designed controller running on what is probably a PCIe4.0 x4 bus. It seems like MS is going for the cheaper, off the shelf parts. Which may or may not have implications for user upgradability.. I wonder how it's all going to turn out? Who would have thought that the stora

It's definitely legit... someone added the serial number to their MS account and it worked lol.. This is bad.. That employee is fucked. -

I'd like MK Trilogy to be bought to PC/Consoles.

I messed up.. but it will be at least 5-10% faster at the same clocks... not including any architectural improvements they have (and RT performance will be better)... and it's in a completely different price bracket. Clocks will also be higher I guarantee. Probably 15+% faster after all is said and done.. depending on the workload. The consoles are going to be great, but they are going to be dusted soon after launch let's say we have 3072 x 1900Mhz x 2.. that's 11.67TF 11.67 - 10.07 = 1.6 / 10.07 x 100 = 16% faster.. not counting architectural improveme
-
LOLOL yes it will.. what the FUCK are you on? 2080 specs: 2944 SMs x 1710 x 2 = 10.07TF Rumored 3070 specs: 3072 SMs.. Even if we use the same clocks as the 2080 (hint they will be higher) then that comes to 3072 x 1710 x 2 = 10.50TF 4% faster, not counting architectural improvements... and like I said... clocks will be higher. It will likely be 10-15% faster. Edit: my bad, I fucked up with the 3080 instead of the 3070 at first
