What does any of that have to do with this thread? What are you even basing any of that off of? There's nothing that indicates that this has or will have anything to do with Nintendo or the Switch. It's not a rumor that Platinum is going to make an announcement. And it's not a baseless correlation. So no... this is obviously about more than just a game. Therefore I think it's about an acquisition. Something that affects the entire company and is "the beginning of a new stage". An acquisition fits that bill. And given Phil's recent comments... there's a strong possibility that it could be that. So.... I'm speculating that it IS in fact that. If you're not going to speculate about what the topic is about... then leave Jehurey.

I just saw that. Tons of games are using it now. It's very versatile. Not only that, but people don't realize just how much Unreal Engine is used outside of gaming. News channels use it, commercials are made with it, it's used in movie pre-production.. ect. Unreal Engine is everywhere. Epic has grown it substantially. They're doing good business even outside of the money Fortnite has been making them lol.

It would be pretty good for MS. The thing is though... it could just as easily be Sony or Nintendo. But I'm more skeptical about Nintendo though because I think I remember them saying that they didn't want to acquire studios, they wanted to focus on the ones they have... or something like that. Basically more collaborations instead of competing trying to purchase studios. Both Sony and MS are definitely on the prowl though..

I think MS has a great variety of first party games... way more than Sony that's for sure. But they really just need to bring production values and quality up. Between all their developers, they have good variety in all the genres... but they have to start executing better. I think a lot of their games would start being reviewed and accepted better if they were between higher quality AAA games that people are wanting. That's why Sony does well. MS has studios that can make amazing games visually.. but the problem is that they aren't willing to take enough of a risk to complet
