Depends what your budget/resolution target is.. but a good well rounded system would be GPU: 2070 Super / 5700XT CPU: Ryzen 3700x MOBO: Any decent x570 motherboard (PCIe Gen 4 support for future proof) MEM: 16GB or 32GB RAM depending on budget (32 for future proof) DRIVE: NVMe SSD (you'll probably need one in the future.. when the next gen consoles hit games could require these speeds) That's pretty much it atm. Early next year the GPU recommendation will likely change... but yea.

Christmas is the best with young children. It's so much more fun watching them open their presents and playing with their toys than it ever is to receive stuff.. so you're absolutely right about that. But just in everyday life as well. Watching them accomplish things, learn sports, or in my case dance lessons.. things that make you proud of them and that make them happy. That's the kind of shit that will make you happy after you have them. Those things that make you drag your ass into work when you're sick as fuck so that you can make sure your kid can do X or Y, or have certain things.

I'm not looking for it to be as good as or better than anything else.. I just want it to be a good show and to be successful. If it turns out great, then that's excellent.

You have to sacrifice a lot when you have kids.. but at the same time they give you so much more of a reason to live and to work hard for. They make the best moments even better. Not only that, but seeing them develop their own personalities and grow as people is just rewarding as fuck.

Honestly, I think they look pretty cool. Reverse the V so that it was open to the rear of the console with a full front, and it would look pretty cool. Obviously make the console black and sleek. It's a smart design though. Allowing that hot air to vent directly above and in the center of the kit.
