  1. MS coming with the Stream Machines follow up
  2. You can use it on the desktop and control your mouse, yes. Steam has to be running though.
  3. 5G brehs.. With improvements in wireless technology, improvements in compression and taking those technical aspects into consideration as the headset is being developed will do wonders to improve the experience. Yea I have no doubt it my mind that Sony is working on a wireless/wired headset which will allow you to have a top tier VR experience whether you're wired or set up for roomscale wireless use. Oculus has to be doing the same thing by now. With the Quest and Link, the next headset will continue with the all-in-one headset which will tether or work wirelessly and of course
  4. It's quite a unique controller though for PC games which don't have any native controller support. There are people out there who after using it have said they wouldn't go back. I actually quite like it, but I just wish the buttons were a bit bigger and were a bit easier to reach with the thumb.
  5. LMAO.. you're NOT going to like it...
  6. Facebook just acquired Beat Games.. the makers of Beat Saber. So it looks like they're Oculus exclusive from now on lol.. and apparently Facebook said "this is just the beginning" so it seems like there's possibly more acquisitions in the pipeline, and that they're going to be making a big push with AAA VR gaming content. First with Lone Echo, and now with Asgard's Wrath and Stormland.. Oculus is starting to get compelling games out there to make people want to purchase a headset. These games don't feel like little tech demos.. they're full fledged games. Lone Echo 2 is coming ne
  7. Not a good look for the boys in blue lol.. Goes into a huge rant at the start abotu how cowardly they are because they know their new chips are getting slaughtered by AMD's Ryzen and then when they show the benchmarks they purposefully order them top-to-bottom performance-wise, and blur out the new Threadripper CPU scores (since the embargo hadn't ended yet) What a fucking bloodbath
  8. It's not coming to Xbox... that's for sure Yep.. PC exclusive. PS has FF7... PC has Half-Life... Xbox has............ notihing PHIL slapping his dick in your face haha
  9. It was even worse on consoles Difference is PC version was fixed... and the console versions still suck ass Whatever else you're blabbing on about.. lmao nobody gives a shit. The only 10/10 game released this year is exclusive to PC.. the best games for next year outside of FF7 are all going to be best on PC.. and Valve is back to making Half-Life..exclusive to PC Fuck consoles
  10. Before he said "higher than consoles" and now it's "console settings" I was playing at 45fps because the game was fucked at launch, but a patch fixed my issues and after that it was clear sailing. And yes.. I will discredit your resolution bump, because the performance has almost always been worse than the competition in this years games. They're not catering to the X at all. They're making PS4 games and bumping the res... THAT'S IT. You know it's true... especially when one version of a game is outselling the other 3:1
  11. and THHBR he says.. .how will I ever deal??? You wasted money on an Xbox One X when no developers this past 12 months have catered to it at all, and have actually put out games that were worse performing than the only console they really care about: the PS4. And MS has been doing more catering to PC than Xbox as of late. Flight Sim, Age of Empires, Gears Tactics...
  12. You mean all of the biggest games that released this year? So rough As always... consoles come LAST (especially the Xbox variety )
  13. When I think of the speed of these new SSDs I don't think about loading times.. I think about how it's going to enable gameplay and game design to fundamentally change. Games wont have to be structured in a way that limits the scope and ambition of the team. The physics and graphics are going to improve substantially regardless of all that. Like I said.. I don't think people realize just yet how much better things are going to become very soon.. and it's not even the fact that the consoles are going to have high end hardware inside them.. it's the fact that the APIs and develop
  14. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Runner Up: Dark Souls 2
  15. No. For the majority of games, it's going to help tremendously... The games that will require that kind of I/O bandwidth will definitely optimize and take advantage of that speed and make their entire games seamless. Don't even worry about that shit
  16. SSD speed and bandwidth is going to improve dramatically in the next 1-2 years.
  17. Oh nvm I see. We're 3/4 of the way there. 1.5m total. How many more years is that then Cookie??
