  1. https://www.dsogaming.com/news/dragon-quest-builders-2-is-coming-to-the-pc-on-december-10th/ Nice. Heard good things about this one. Still though.. maybe they should give us the first one too lol...

  3. There's the sense that many of the challenges in streaming games have been improved massively since the OnLive days, but bandwidth is still very much a precious commodity for most users and Stadia at its best requires 20GB of the stuff for an hour of play at its highest quality level. It's going to be a while before this will ever be acceptable for most people though... Can you imagine people using Stadia on their mobile phones and forgetting to use Wifi? lmao
  4. lmao. It's probably because they know damned well rendering at anything higher will just be lost in the quality of the stream anyway. Still... it should be running 60fps at that resolution. lol
  5. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2019-stadia-tech-review Big article with lots of comparisons. No video yet though afaik. Haven't even read into it yet so I can't summarize.
  6. There's plenty of open world games which perform fine. UE4 just really isn't tailored to streaming in huge level assets during gameplay. Not yet anyway.. Next gen will be so much better regardless though
  7. Yea, that would get annoying quickly. I don't think it happens too often though like that on the consoles..thankfully. The bigger problem with the console versions of this game are probably the loading times after deaths. People are complaining about 50+sec load times after every death on consoles. That would suck in a game like this. It was painful in Bloodborne at the beginning before they made it somewhat better later on through patches. Anyway.. Richard said in the video that the devs are aware of the freezing and level loading issue and looking into
  8. Yea there's definitely hitching when it's loading in new areas, but generally it's pretty smooth. I've had nothing like what's shown in DF's video, but I do know people on PC who've had seconds long freezing as well. For me it's always just felt like the FPS takes a dip and makes it stutter for a sec then its gone.. But the levels are pretty big, and it's noticeable especially when you're dashing to return to an area after dying. It's honestly only recently that UE4 has started to move toward pushing the engine towards properly supporting open world games. UE was always about g
  9. Because you're a certified BF nuthugger, that's why... You think having some criticisms of it changes that? It's all the other little things... like how you instantly jump to defend it whenever anyone talks shit about it as a franchise... or whenever a new COD game comes out and you feel reviewers are soooooooo unfair to BF comparatively and that COD gets a free pass.. The reason why I brought up Battlefield is because it doesn't matter how shitty the previous game is... you're ready and willing to accept that the next one is going to be awesome or at least COULD be awesome... until you're
  10. While it's obviously not a Danny B Style caliber OST, the music in the game is pretty damn good. It fits really good. I LOVE the boss and title tracks: Boss music Title music
  11. This game is sooo good. You have to accept failure though as you learn the items and how they work, because you're going to die... a lot. Once you start learning how the mechanics work, you can really start planning and make the game work in your favor, and it's so satisfying as you progress and get to new enemies and bosses you've never seen before. The biggest thing that I want them to add is basically a save and quit option so that you can leave a game mid-run and then continue it after. Which I believe is on the list of things they are going to add.. so once that
  12. I'm really liking this game so far.. despite the jank. On the 3rd planet atm, but taking a bit of a break right now.
  13. lmao give me a break dude.. You ARE madly in love with BF... at least... you try hard to act like you're not disappointed as fuck in it year after year. We all know you are though... just like everyone else. I know for a fucking fact that you're hopeful as can be that the next one will "bring it back to glory".. And no... FROM's new games which aren't actual sequels are all quite unique. You'd have to be an idiot to think Dark Souls is the same IP as Bloodborne, or Sekiro... They're completely different worlds and stories with different takes on different mechanics.
  14. Yea, everyone's interests... Like the constant hope that Bluepoint is working on a Demon's Souls Remake... or that FROM are working on a BloodBorne sequel... bubut the most quickly forgotten and least talked about souls-like Yea... possibly. I mean it IS a game that's based around Japanese culture which is a turnoff for some people.. it IS a hard game compared to the souls games.. which caused some people to drop it... and it IS less RPG-like than any of the souls games... so that reduced the games replayability in the eyes of many people... It probably isn't as tal
  15. It sold better Warriors worried about sales Get'em Phil
  16. They literally say Campo-Santo in the post though.. meaning In the Valley of Gods.
