Yea. I think they got mixed up. But that said.. the devs did do multiple interviews and we're very likely asked about it.. since the game has such a focus on photo-realism. What I think likely happened, is that they were asked if the game would support RTX... (RTX being synonymous with Ray Tracing at this point) and the devs probably said they are thinking about implementing it down the line... Lame bait breh. If you could post some evidence that wasn't anecdotal that might really help your case... because I'm not convinced. You were probably losing 300-400mhz because you fucked up and put too much thermal paste on or something.

Yea, it's basically counting tiny fluctuations in frametimes as "stutter"... you can't even see them while the bench is running. That's usually what happens when the refresh-rate and game aren't synced exactly right. It's not no damn 5700xt issue, or Radeon issue, or MS app issue... it's a combo of settings. I'd like The Mother Fucker to try 120hz instead of 144hz and run variable fps from the game option menu. See what that does to his stutter count.

That's not the problem.. I can post pics of Nvidia users with high stutter counts in this benchmark too... It's something related to freesync/gsync/vsync and high refresh rates.

No it's not... I just posted 2 pics of people with 5700XT's that have 0 stutter.

No... you CAN and you SHOULD be able to expect that. The stock CPU cooler should handle and be able to dissipate enough heat so that the CPU can function within advertised limits. That's pretty self explanatory. The performance difference is likely negligible... the only REAL tangible difference will be temps and noise. And these CPUs are rated for high temps...

So you were singing the praises of FH4 earlier...and how amazing it is on AMD gpus.... and now that I've brought up this tiny thing.. that YOU could easily fix.. you're saying I'm a fanboy because I'm calling the game optimized... and you want to remove it because it's a shitty MS app.. The prism is fine.. your CPU might not boost quite as high as often... it wont make much of a difference though at stock settings anyway.. And don't fucking worry about voltages AT ALL. The cooler was MADE for that CPU... And all I'm telling you... is if you're trying to save money.. then try the Prism first... It comes with the CPU.... If you're not happy with it, then buy an AIO cooler. Either way... you're going to have to learn how to install an AIO in that case... So do whatever. If you're planning on getting one built... then just get it with the AIO.

Nah.. I can run at 165hz and get 0 stutter... and those shitty MS apps are 2 of the most optimized PC games to release this gen lmao...

Try it out and see how it goes. There's lots of factors which can affect your temps. Your ambient room temp.. the size of your case and airflow within.. and even how much thermal paste you apply. I'll say this.. The Wraith Prism is made for it... so it's not that it's going to be "not good enough". It'll do the job, but it could get a bit on the louder side. Once you get your stuff set up.. then you can test the temps, and if you're not sure about it.. you can get an AIO at some later point. That said.. for me.. I'd usually always go for the AIO cooler.

It means your stutter count has nothing to do with your Radeon profile and/or the fact that you can't make a profile for this game... It has nothing to do with the fact that you own a Radeon card and that it's "just the way it is".... If other people with 5700XTs aren't experiencing it... then it's something else... with your setup.
