  1. I doubt it. There's not much point. Ori 2 is coming and will be the new hotness anyway. Them being able to say the Switch version has something over the originals just helps them sell more Switch copies. It's all good. Much like he said in his post though, I didn't notice at first. I always knew the originals was at 30fps but I never noticed the Switch version was smoother until I read that. Then I went back and played it and yea.. much nicer.
  2. You would think so. I doubt they're going to put the first one on there and not consider putting the sequel on as well. But I think it will be some time before it happens if it does. I think the plan was to put it on there, see how it goes, get more fans interested in Ori, and use it to build hype for the sequel. I don't think there's plans beyond that, other than maybe... "we could do this if we want to" type thing. Anyway, I think it's more of a case that the engine has been optimized greatly, and those changes reduced the footprint greatly, so thus it was possible
  3. It looks amazing. But I'm gonna keep it 100 here.. It looks as good as the other amazing looking games this gen imo. Where it, and Naughty Dog excel will be presentation, and cutscenes and scripted moments. Naughty Dog have a way with making things nice and cinematic. But the most impressive thing to me about it all, is that enemies and the AI looks far better than any other game I can remember. That shit right there is where this game seems like it's going to be far ahead. The overall package has amazing presentation. I can't fucking wait to find out wh
  4. Bump with new trailer... this game... man...
  5. It's an awesome game. The QoL improvements will help newcomers to the series. I've been there and done that though Enjoy the "other best RPG" of this generation Sheep
  6. You can't really argue with that. I played the demo on Switch and yea, sure enough Ori's animationa are 60fps whereas on PC/XO they are 30. Just pressing down and jump Ori will do a backflip. The animation is much better on Switch. There you have it. We'll have to wait for Ori 2
  7. Also looks like it's not going to require a Playstation in the future either No "Only on Playstation" to be seen
  8. Yeah. It's pretty much the perfect fit for the medium.
  9. All YOU need to know is you're getting the "Switch" of VR systems. Portable stand-alone, or 'dock' to your PC and play your games with improved visuals.
  10. You will now be able to connect your Quest to your PC and use it as you would a Rift headset. This essentially makes the Oculus Quest BY FAR the best VR product out there... and as incredible as it was selling before, will undoubtedly be selling better now. https://www.theverge.com/2019/9/25/20883737/oculus-link-quest-headset-gaming-pc-rift-games-library-update-vr Also, Quest is getting hand tracking early next year. This is HUGE I'm going to buy one now that it can be connected and used as a Rift.

  13. Is there a way to connect it to your Switch screen? Since you got rid of your TV and all...

  16. The animation quality is outstanding. The PS5 version at 4K native 60fps is going to be a treat for the launch of that console.
