Why on earth would you go to the UK?  :tom:

I like grey, communist bloc buildings and 1984 Orwell vibes :happysad:

If you're serious about it take some short travels around Eastern Europe and the Balkans, or visit the Philippines. Don't spend too much, just go around to see if the places align with your needs and if you could see yourself living there. Or take on short term jobs in different countries, take your money and bounce if you get bored.

I've actually been to the Balkans a bit. They are very affordable but the economies are mostly bad, so getting employment would be hard. They treat tourists well too.

Haven't been to Western Europe much though. Or Scandinavia, for that matter.

Do you know if traveling by train from balkans to West Europe is feasible, or not really? also, how are you liking belgium :ben:

No the UK is crazy expensive, and as far as I'm aware does not have favorable immigration laws unless you're highly skilled or a refugee (even then you have to pretend you'll be killed if you return home whilst the government try and put you on a one way plane to Rwanda. Not joking).

I would try Australia/NZ, not cheap but welcome immigrants who are willing to work, people like it so much they often stay. Vietnam/Thailand is another 'traveller' destnation.

    Any thoughts on France?

Also, if you think UK is expensive, Australia would blow your mind lol

  3. was Aza insisting it was heterosexual for a man to sleep with a femboy, and that it was really a female. I was so mad arguing back and forth, and it only hit me years later it was a troll.

I've copied the method and have been using it on others since then. The reactions are priceless, insisting the person who says this must be in the closet. :troll2:

    More punishment than crime

For real though life is so depressing.

For me too if I'm to be honest.  I got some things going for me, but damn if I'm not depressed too.

How old are you and how do you plan to get financial independence? Do you own your home?

I guess reaching the age where everyone that's always been around you start to die and get sick is the worst part :wow2:

Trying to reach financial freedom and the endless setbacks second I guess

Damn, your life is like a Dostoevsky novel.

I can't even do that anymore as I'm getting older, used to work pretty well as a kid though :bena:

Then again the problems we thought we faced were actually minuscule most of the time :tom:

Bisexual Tree, what sort of problems are you facing nowadays?

    Still playing videogames daily :wow:

I can't justify it to myself honestly, I feel guilty the moment I play one now.

Even the feeling is so completely off compared to gaming a few years back and I was completely addicted since childhood.

I could get lost in those game worlds and their characters and really enjoy it but now they feel so empty.

They all feel like when you log in some old MP game where you're the only one on the server. Sad! :wow2:

Have you tried just playing older games again and ignoring newer ones?

I don't play anywhere near daily, but i have some fun occasionally. 95% of my gaming is on games older than 2008

Won't be too hard for me.

I think they all do within the legal boundaries but this is not something I know well enough for the time being to say more.

You could probably just look at the profit margin % from the income statements to get a good picture. Although the video game industry is probably weird in that regard, because they probably have negative quarters and then huge fucking profits when the games actually gets released unlike companies who sell their products at a somewhat consistent rate all year long.

Profit margin is 1 of the most important indicators, but FAR from the most important one. That's absurdly simplistic. If you buy into a company issuing debt through their shares (i.e. diluting) you're dead in the water before you even started. Would rather have a company with 0 profit margin than a company diluting shares.

Do they send you any type of financial statements as a small time shareholder (I don't mean to offend)? Or is it public?

I'm studying accounting you know. I'd love to see some data.

They might send 1-2 generic legal looking letters every year. I just throw them in the trash usually.

EDIT: Oh wait, you're asking about financial statements? They definitely don't send that in the mail. Not even email. It's all publicly available.

What is the rate intervals at which you get dividends? Is it once a year, once every quarter, once a month? I assume it's once a year, right?

With Nintendo, I think it might be twice a year. For a total of about 3.6% combined paid throughout the year.

I'm not too worried about tracking dividends. I have it set to automatically be reinvested back into stock shares, which will grow the future dividend even MORE because I have more shares. And that's not counting if Nintendo's profits increase, and they increase their dividend. In a decade, I might end up making 12% a year in dividends alone by doing nothing on an original investment.

That's what happened to the lucky fucks who got in early on companies like Apple,

That's easy and guaranteed profit. I got a few Amiibo who already exceed their initial value. Notably Joker from Persona 5.

And did you account for inflation since you bought and also your sales tax in these "flips"?

Flipping videogames or collectibles is dumb in my opinion. You have no idea if it will increase in value or not. You are just hoping eventually someone will pay more. 90% of these flips are bad investments.
