Just opened 2 checking accounts (mine and a family member's) for Capital One's spend $300, get $100 back. I'm going to spend 600 to get 200 back on my banking loans.
And just a few days ago, my $75 bonus for direct deposit hit on another newly opened bank account.
Living the dream.

markets change tho
That's why I short sold the Complete Aristotle. Loaded up on 1,000 books of the Complete Shakespeare and plan to sell them off.

lol I almost bought those 2 books a few years back.
They are nowhere near that price. More like $100 combined.

i have an $11,200 limit and remember taking a beating when i had put a $4000 purchase on there, with an existing balance of $~2000. I immediately put $4000 on it the next month but it did nothing to help my score, and that was with depositing a $15,000 cheque in my savings account.
your best bet is, don't ever put a balance on that fucking thing, pay it off right away, CC's are a fucking scam and need to be stopped
Your credit score doesn't immediately update, and never takes savings into account. Your score went back up after paying it but took a while to update.
also, if you are depositing $15k checks to make $4k payments, how is your limit only $11k?

644 isn't considered bad. It's average.
If Twinblade really tried, he could get it to 700 no problem.

Start using your cc for all purchases and either pay it off the day they post or at the end of the month. Do it daily to avoid having to see a large number that maybe you didn’t account for at the end of the month
credit cards should work just like debit cards in the way that you use them. It’s just one extra step. (Pay with cc and then pay cc off) And you’ll never be behind.
This.
People who think credit = free money are morons.
Credit is basically an IQ test. If you have bad credit, your IQ is (usually) low. If you have amazing credit, you undoubtedly have a good IQ.

The real question is what’s your credit limit?
With all my cards combined I have literally lost count.
Combined its probably well over $100,000.

This is my face when the people who read this don't reply because their credit score is embarrassingly low:

It may depend on where you go but I haven’t ran into any. Even so a small fee isn’t really a big deal all things considered
also I stress that this may be blocked on your card etc so maybe look into it, but I’ve done it successfully a few times now (one though citi one through chase)
Did some googling. One website says that they treat it as a cash advance, and not a purchase, so they don't gift rewards for it.
Don't know if that is accurate or not. Maybe Chase and CITI slipped through the cracks.

One thing I noticed about those “spend x in x months to receive x points”.. they’ve long caught on to buying gift cards but you can get a money order still
ie spend 2k in 3 months. Obviously if you just used the card you’d spend 2k but you can also just go get a money order using the card, deposit the money into your bank, and pay off the card
Only a matter of time before they catch that tho
holy shit, really? sounds too good to be true. might begin using this...
are there any additional fees with money orders paid with credit card? never did one before.

Mine bounces between 780 and 800 on credit karma. I'm addicted to checking it lol
Once you get into churning, it's like crack. I obsessively check about 20 cards, and 7 active accounts.
I've made a few thousand dollars in profit off my credit alone.

I certainly never did. What was it?
A poster from 4chan/8chan who has been posting cryptic posts over the past 4 years since 2016.
From what I understand the overriding theme of all the posts is basically that Trump is being undermined by a cult-like group of elites and is fighting them for control of the country. They are pedophiles, believe in power, and also are among the richest people in society. I think the pizzagate and Epstein stuff was linked to it.

and to think we have posters on here who believe that QAnon conspiracy bullshit
Regardless of whether the content is real or not, I've heard people claim that whoever is posting this 'Q' stuff is clearly in the know, and literally is involved at a higher level in the government. Julian Assange, for example, claimed it was an intelligence agency doing this to distract the public.
Whoever it is, it is definitely not some random guy in his basement. One of the posts apparently had a timestamped photo from air force one.

trust me. i too am an excellent judge of character, and i've seen of the "best people" end up screwing over friends of mine (i warned them). definitely screen them. i had some old broad who rented out one of my units. sweet as apple pie. i still ran a criminal background and credit check. it turned out, grandma was evading the IRS she's lucky i knew her son, who did me a solid, financially. it all worked out lol.
so did the son pay for her and she continued to rent? or did you kick her out? i'm confused.
did she refuse to pay?

That certainly sounds like a better place to be a landlord when you know who you're letting in.
Here it nearly impossible to do all those background checks without being sued for discrimination and if they're already in it's extremely difficult to get them evicted.
I still agree that tenants need to be protected from scummy landlords but it should go both ways
I'm good at reading people. All I need to do is meet with them, see their resume, do a google search of them, facebook, etc. and I can figure out who they are. Maybe criminal/credit background checks too.

Any advice? Should I rent it out after buying it? Been looking at Zillow prices.

Lol @ some of the people here.
Since when do rosary beads fall like that? That is clearly some kind of metallic item. And furthermore, it clearly has some kind of weird tension pulling it.
A rosary bead doesn't retract like that. Shit is completely odd. LMAO, I can even hear Liquid's voice squeaking a bit, "Guys, Biden is not having mind-altering drugs pumped into him.......right, guys? .......right?"
