I know they get most sales in the west, but they're not going to develop for something which has no presence internally. I mean in North America the Xbox One is only a few million units behind the PS4 yet the games come here localized and all for PS4 in NTSC standard. They're hard to support what has no support in their own country.

Xbox 360 has a presence in Japan, Xbox One doesn't. If Xbox One had a Japanese presence these games would be for it as well in Japan and localized externally. The only reason these games even happen externally is due entirely to their sales viability internally.

This is not correct Jerry. The reality is if two games release in tandem but have content and game function not available to the other game they are in fact two games regardless of how similar they appear to be. They released as separate products. Updates to existing code and changes made for other platforms are revisions. Pokemon was split into two products with different content at release, it was conceptualized and realized as two games. MK8 was ported to a new platform and additional development was done to it after the fact. These are not at all comparable scenarios.

It's a combination of poor coding and weak hardware. The Switch GPU at peak docked is about 30% as powerful as the Xbox One GPU. It only has 25 GB/s of memory bandwidth and a much weaker CPU. Also Ark runs on a newer version of CryEngine which as we all know is extremely demanding. The game needs brute power to run, Switch can't handle it.

That's not how exclusives work Jerry. Mario Kart 8 and Breath of the Wild are not exclusive. The only one of those two games which was exclusive was MK8 when it was only on Wii U, then it released on Switch which made it a multiplat. BotW was a day one multiplat. They're both multiplats.
