Can someone delete me, I just want to talk about video games in a semi-violent environment, but still actually discuss games -

Did you ever hop in and give a prediction? I'm curious how you think they'll tackle this. -
I did the same thing, at least for me I was listing games.
-
Listed =/= hyped

The game has a chibi art style and the opening is exactly the same as Final Fantasy XV's. Pocket Edition will be split over 10 episodes and has a chance of being ported to the Switch in the place of a Final Fantasy 15 port, which didn't run very well on the Switch because the console couldn't “bring out the most of the engine”. That doesn't mean it wasn't sparked on consoles because of it. Also it being released "soon" may have something to do with Nintendo just getting blasted by a typhoon, or there's issues, or a million other things.

Yeah, last generation games and stuff that my SNES could render are suited for the Switch. What a revolutionary device. Switch already has issues handling Dead Cells for crying out loud...

No, I'm waiting for Overkill's The Walking Dead.

Subjectivity is based upon the credence of the opposing parties stance and them giving way to it. If I truly believe that Splinter Cell is better and I declare that it's better, I am presenting a statement that is objectively rooted unless otherwise stated. I'm not presenting it as an opinion, that is why properly applied context needs to be at the forefront of textually based discussion. Context cannot be derived from it solely without specificity, these are basic English and communication skills. You're implying that I know your context when you applied none. Are you from Quebec

If you were talking about a Camaro and I came back with "Ugh... No fucking thanks The Mustang is better" That's not a subjectively structured response. It doesn't matter what you mean, all that matters is how you say it and the way it's structured.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is better than any Metal Gear Solid. That's not a subjective sentence. I think Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is better than any Metal Gear Solid. That is a subjective sentence. A statement is not inherently subjective.
-
No, you leveraged two different things in your post. I don't care what you think you meant, it's how you structured your post. You saying "Ugh... no fucking thanks" is subjective. However following that up with "MGS 1,2, and 3 are much better" turns the latter into an objectively made followup which is argumentative. This is why text in any form needs contextual application, a simple "For me" or "I think" takes your objectively presented post and makes it subjective. You can call me a dumbass until the cows come home and I couldn't care less, structure your posts bett
-
You're taking my subjective post and arguing with it saying "MGS 1,2, and 3 are much better", there's nothing to misinterpret.
-
You presented your post as objective, I didn't misunderstand anything.
-
I didn't realize when I said "I'd still rather" I was applying a blanket statement for everyone. It's nice to know that you dictate what I'd rather play though.
-
I'd still rather play Splinter Cell.
