I played it like a decade ago, I’m replaying it. Everything I’ve said so far is correct, you’re just a cry baby because it was one of your first FFs and you have nostalgic memories about this broken, tedious mess of a game. Poor little angel.

It’s not absolutely fine. Normal attacks do absolutely shit damage meaning you have to summon guardian forces and sit through that same shitty long animation again and again to do decent damage. It’s tedious even with fast forward. And magic drawing has to be the dumbest idea in any Final Fantasy ever. Good thing I can just break the Junction System I guess. It’s got nothing to do with being an old game.

12 is the best FF I’ve played on PlayStation consoles so it beats 10 by default. Combat, progression and gambit systems are great, storyline is great but not quite up to usual FF standards. The entire package is still way more impressive and ambitious than any of the other 3D entries. X is still great though. The voice acting and lip syncing is the only thing I really dislike. Combat is great. Both are honestly far more interesting games than VII or IX, which are basically aping FF4/6 with better graphics and bigger budgets. The PS2 was where Square really experimented

Because people feel their jobs are being taken and they can’t get employment. I said in my first post it was issues with immigration combined with economics. But you don’t know the nuance behind it. You assumed it was refugees even though it’s not. They are barely a factor.
