For me it's definitely looking like it's gonna be boring. Found No Mans Sky boring, I hate all those giant realistic space games and this game seems far too big and random for my liking. Usually enjoy Bethesda games for exploring every little part of the specifically designed map and discovering everything they created in it but this just doesn't seem to be that at all. Still hoping it hits but the more and more I hear about it the less for me it seems to be. Maybe I just mainline the main quest.

How does this compare to the other systems it's on?

It is, but that as a positive is also something that will only last for the first couple hours or sessions. After that it's just gonna be tedious dropping in planets to mine resources No Mans Sky style then traveling to other random planets. Things that sound cool or real very rarely translate to fun gaming. Usually same goes for games that incorporate eating, or realistic healing (think MGS3) or exercise (think GTA San Andreas), etc. Cool in theory and for first couple times, much less fun over time especially in games of this size.

Never a doubt I'm still balls deep into Diablo IV though

Good to know. I think the surprise of ep4 had a more negative impact on my views of the ep too. Knowing Ep5 is horror going in will make it better.

I don't know if I want that though, there's plenty of horror shows around and even more horror anthology kind of shows but nothing like what BM usually is. What made Black Mirror so good was that touch of realism and dystopian future element where the horror came out in the fact that all this stuff isn't really that much of a far cry from a future reality. The turn in ep4 was a massive let down in direction. I'd say it's easily the worst BM episode ever. Still have eps 3 and 5 to watch (had to skip 3 due to length). I enjoyed ep2 for what it was but even that was

This looks cool. Playing FEAR for the first time is something I think I will always remember in gaming terms. Such a cool experience.

Fuck Yes! It only gets better and better with each episode too. I was ready to tell you to stick it out if you thought the start was a little slow or light but if you're enjoying it already you're gonna love it by the end. Keri Russell is legit ageless.

Finished The Diplomat. Really enjoyed it, some superb performances lead by Keri Russell and great writing. Finale and ending was excellent too, this shit better be renewed by Netflix. Highly recommended.

Haven't seen them so can't comment but past Black Mirror eps are so close to reality now that they do probably need to venture a little more into the fantasy realm lol

and if you ask some lemmings the Starfield showcase already makes it one of the best Games ever made

Only seen Joan if Awful so far and it was great! Little more light hearted while still having the Black Mirror vibe which was cool. Good to hear you guys are enjoying the others too. I'm ready for some dark eps though.

Thought what they showed was very good overall, much better showing than the last time (even though there are multiple aspects to this game that really do not appeal to me personally). However I do think this new found confidence might not be a good thing though because people are now going in with crazy expectations (like literally even here jonb now hyping this as 'one of the greatest games ever made') instead of going in a bit wary and hopefully being surprised. This is still a Bethesda game and one with such a scale that the possibility of a bit of a rough launch is quite high.

Honestly not sure what you're seeing. From like the actual 3rd person race view (7.40min onwards) it looks good but very close to GT7 which is cross gen. Nothing mindblowing unfortunately
