Honestly speaking though, no service was had so much constant deals that I can remember than GP. Zero streaming services like Netflix, Prime, etc. Never PS Now. Plus and Gold have the usual deals on yearly subs. GP is legit so often given away for a $1. I am not complaining for a second. As a consumer this is the most amazing value ever given in gaming history. But it is clear that MS is taking a shit on this in the hope of it becoming a mainstream thing in the future.

I honestly believe that Sony has learnt that for launch, a single SKU is the way to go. Less confusion, no mixed message. They've done the best when they went with this method. Any bundles would prob be just ones made by the retailers. Yeah same. $499 launch price for hardware and $70 for games.

Apex Legends. Played a couple matches. Can see why it's doing so well. The gunplay feels great (no surprise given it's Respawn) and there is enough changes to the usual BR format to make it feel different and unique. Will be interesting to see if it sticks around long term. Many BR games had a big debut then fizzled out.

Pretty much this, it takes too much effort to troll SW type of things now even though it's fun to do sometimes. Plus there has been a giant increase in political extreme threads lately where it is just the usual ppl arguing against each other about the usual topics. Official threads are the only place where most honest chats go since there isn't the SW style gaming talk there. WDYPT is probably my fav thread here.

Truth is that it's practically impossible. Even ignoring the multitude of issues this forum has as an actual mainstream type of thing the fact is that forums in general just aren't the preferred method of communication anymore. Not even Gaf and Era can truly live together, GAF is dead af. Era is just the single place truly popular forum mostly due to the inside news it drops because of the insiders there. Everyone is now on reddit or discord.
