That would make sense if you had to buy a game. I always assumed MAU for everything would've just been that a user had to log in to the service in that month.

Indeed it does. There are moments where it is absolutely unbelievable that it holds 30fps on the base consoles, but it does. That's what you get when Bungie develops a game. Incredible gunplay and incredible technical performances. Bioware is no Bungie when it comes to these things. I'm saying this being all in on Anthem. Defs getting it and my group of friends are ready for it too but everything Bioware is good at Anthem doesn't cater to and everything they struggle at is what is needed to make Anthem great. That sucks massively. Destiny has a couple really quick load screens in game but its fairly rare and just pauses the screen for a second. Like that I won't mind too much but if it's very common it is going to kill the open world feel massively.

So in the end it was the spacing that got him. Who would've thought.

Please remember you guys are talking about Bioware...... absolutely none of their praise ever from any game is ever because of technical qualities. In fact it's usually the thing we look over because they excel elsewhere.

Only engaged, money spending MAUs. Releasing MAU figures along with game sales numbers, hardware numbers, breakdowns of paid subs and non paid subs etc is fine but if you're doing like MS and literally only announcing MAUs then it's pointless. Adding the number of ppl that are playing Minecraft from all systems (that are already doing it without XBL) to your XBL MAU numbers is ridiculous and just meant to look good.
