Luckily it isn't a FPS. Still an incredibly overrated game imo, but it's a first person adventure game. Just how metroid wasn't a shooter when it was 2d. Becoming 3d and first person doesn't make it a shooter.

Watched the premiere of You. Was not expecting it to be that good! Hooked already.

Of course I know you're baiting but what fun would it be if I don't bite Fortnite is an example where it most definitely is the game. It's practically number 1 regardless of who of the major streamers is on or off. The game is a beast. The question with SoT will be if it can hold that core. Destiny viewship skyrockets through the year as certain events/raids or expansions come out. Think it even hit no.1 earlier this year with the Forsaken raid, but then diminishes as ppl return to other games. We'll see how SoT does in a few weeks. Not gonna argue regarding

You're still one of the people that believe Twitch is actually about the game and not the streamer? People like Summit, Ninja, etc can play whatever they want and they will get viewers because ppl are subscribing to them, not to the game channel. Why do you think you sometimes see the most random ass games in the top 10. The actual games were viewership shows how full of life they are are the constant Top 5/10s. Games like fortnite, LoL, Dota, pubg, overwatch, etc. Where regardless if some of the major players are off the game is still in the top 10. Not like SoT going from 700 vie

This would be the way to go. I still don't know how they managed to walk away from Activision with the Destiny IP. Would love to hear the story some day.

In what world did this game flop? Everything that hardcore fans have hated about the game is from the Activision side. The pushing of microtransaction, the incorporation of heavily grindy and repetitive tasks to increase player game time, making Destiny 2 more casual focused as opposed to building on how Destiny ended up after Taken King, etc. Regardless this is amazing news for fans of the franchise and for ppl that aren't fans this is great too because now it might change and you may like it. Literally zero way this is bad.

This is amazing news and something I never would've thought was possible. Everything wrong with Destiny is Activision policies. Can't wait to see what they do in the future now. Apparently the staff are over the moon also

Switch XL confirmed.

This post is so dumb I don't even know why I'm replying to it. 'XL' isn't a measurement to a specific size, it's a measurement to the Base model. The Switch could be fucking 55" and it would still be a Switch XL indicates a model with a larger screen than the base and a Lite indicates a smaller model. It ain't rocket science.

A Switch XL is a near certainty at some point. A Switch Lite would be interesting but weird imo because the joycons would really feel and look massive on a smaller screen and they can't change their design/size.
