  1. Yeah and can get pretty difficult, especially if you're trying to 100% levels. Worth checking out if you're on the look out for puzzle games
  2. Started watching it just to check it out and it's actually entertaining in a way I can't even describe. The jokes are horrible, haven't laughed once, the script feels like it's written by a child, it looks low budget in areas (then decent budget in others) and the acting is so over the top that it takes you out of it sometimes yet somehow it knows all these things and embraces them and is a light fun watch. The short ep lengths help a lot. Also Sweet Tooth is done pretty damn well. I'm like 5/6 eps in.
  3. P4G is great but I feel it would be tough to go back to P4 after the QoL improvement P5 did in regards to it's gameplay.
  4. Disagree because Switch was a migration of Nintendo's 2 markets (console and handheld) into one and also because the gaming market is also significantly bigger now. But PS2 also had the dvd angle which no doubt was a major factor in it's success.
  5. The Bear is so fn good. Sort of like Uncut Gems but as a tv show with a restaurant setting
  6. Will give it a go but not really excited for it tbh.
  7. very little middle ground with these type of games, you'll either love it or hate it and usually the only way to tell is to dive in.
  8. I think it makes a lot of sense to take out optical drives in future devices and have them optional. Any cost cutting approaches like that I'm all for. For eg my XSX is purely a GP device so I've paid for the optical drive for no reason essentially. I think Alan Wake is a bit of an example of how gaming maybe isn't ready for it. There was a decent amount of backlash against their decision to not have physical, to the degree that publishers actually reached out and offered to publish the physical version for them (i think it was 505 Games in this case). Other than the whole file si
  9. Will obviously happen eventually but I think the movie/tv space is well ahead of gaming in regards to this.
  10. and what fraction of that will be willing to pay a significant amount more to do that better? 10% of that number? Be lucky if that.
  11. Not really hate, more like just don't care about it at all. Can't see the market for it and seems very limited in it's use.
  12. Does it? We actually have no idea. Only ever talk about revenue.
  13. Taste changes, hobbies change and how one wants to spend free time as it becomes more limited changes too. I game a fraction of what I use to but it will prob be something I always do on and off but it's no where near close to one of my favourite hobbies now. Also as we grow older the wonder and awe of games has greatly lessened. The current gaming climate would've blown my mind as a child. Imagine being a kid and having GP, PS Extra, these insane production levels, epic scales, etc. I was playing like 2/3 games a year and digging out every second of content out of them. Just play w
  14. Thought Dark's discord was pretty active. Never joined the other one (SW discord)
  15. Thought the discord was pretty good and had some cool people there. I just struggle with keeping up on discord chats especially if you aren't online often. Probably more a factor of me growing up with forums and just being more use to that form of online interaction.
  16. Wasn't just NFS games either back in the days. Their sports games had incredible soundtracks, specifically some of the old FIFAs.
  17. Looks weird af but I wonder if for once maybe they just said fuck it regarding ascetics and it's legit just gonna feel as good as a Dualsense.
