Being FORCED to learn the trade too, that most slaves would associate that skill/trade with slavery so why would they WANT to participate in it, even or especially, after slavery? I don't think it's been documented at all that Black descendants of slaves in the US inherited any skill passed down from their ancestors that gave them an advantage in job markets. I just finished “Eat the Rich: GameStop saga” documentary on Netflix only after finding out about the whole thing when I saw a trailer for a movie being made about it called Dumb Money. I lived under a rock during Covid years when it was happening. 10/10 , the documentary explained everything including questions I didn’t even know I had. It’s a three part mini series and the bottom line to get out of it is; Do NOT use Robinhood.

Watching "Money, explained"on Netflix, I find it to be the answer to people not being thaught about financing in school. Each episode is concise and not a minute is wasted in teaching viewers about the history and current effects of each episode's topic such as credit cards, gambling or student loans.

Also rewatched Inglorious Basterds and its still my favorite Tarantino film. Saw it on Freevee which sucks cause of the commercials but still loved it, every scene is ace.

Saw No Hard Feelings and it was great! Not sure how it got the title "Rom com" its just a comedy not that all focused on Romance. J Law is great, but the young actor really carried his own weight too

They are limiting themselves trying to hold on to a past they never have themselves lived over the customs of dead ancestors. The government have given more than enough in terms of reparations to American Natives, especially considering descendants of former slaves got barely nothing (even ruling that affirmative action in some places is unlawful). So blaming the US government as land thieves is a bullshit argument, literal virtue signaling while ignoring all the things they’ve done for Natives.

I’m watching stuff on Starz too while I’ve got a 7 day trial linked to my Amazon prime account. Never heard of Party down though, so far I watched Spider-Man home something 2 and 3 (still hate the 2nd and damn the extended version of 3 is long… the animated Spider-Man movies are better though) watching Passengersfor the first time, liking it so far. And hopefully before the trial runs out I’ll watch Fury, and the newest Charlie angels and Men in Black movie (all again)

I don't care for either actor. Kind of fucked up to say but glad Majors is having legal issues with that woman that could get him kicked out of Marvel movies, he acts the same in everything he's in. Same with MBJ Creed 3 did suck, despite my least favorite actors being in it I still watched it one night expecting it to be worst, but what makes the plot so unbelievable? That the guy gets out of prison and becomes the next big challenger of a world famous fighter?
