  1. They didn’t develop a new game. They changed the name from NFL to all pro football and made new teams, players, and stadiums. The game is identical source code. SONY could have lost the license and made “the show”. If MLB contracted a different developer, they couldn’t make the exact same game, because the code is owned by Sony.
  2. Ubi owns the rabbids game which LICENSES Mario. This is the exact same situation we are talking about here. Sony owns the show and LICENSES MLB likeliness.
  3. It’s the exact same source code as NFL 2k5. It was after they lost the license, and possible because it’s their IP.
  4. They did this for other platforms. They don’t do it for Sony. Sony was forced to let them, otherwise they would lose licensing.
  5. No, they couldn’t take the source code from halo and change the name. That would be a breach of IP as they no longer own it.
  6. that’s because Sony refused to publish it on other platforms. Doesn’t mean they don’t own the IP. They realize their IP is worthless without the license, so they had MLB publish for other platforms. go ahead, sig bet me. I already have the proof.
  7. When have I ever said anything different? They could make the exact same game with pretend players, stadiums, and teams. I’ve said this… at least 10 times now.
  8. Let’s say I create and own a company that produces steering wheels. If I contact MLB and get MLB brand on my steering wheels through a licensing deal, you think MLB now owns my company and product?
