I spent more time tinkering with the settings to make the shooting bearable than anything. Some missions were pretty neat tho.

Sounds like you just want to sit in the showcase and view cars. That’s cool, but a racing sim should be realistic. No damage removes all immersion. If I can hit a wall at 90 mph and get a scratch, I’d say that’s more arcade than sim.

The aiming looks so clunky

My vote probably goes to Elden Ring. I just love the art style of the game and vastness of it. Definitely not the most technically looking best game but I still really enjoyed the way it looked.
