No.... I have the iPhone pro max. It costs 400-500 a year “rented”, the same cost as owning would be after reselling. As you can see, I do not care to own a phone. It’s the same thing either way when upgrading annually. also, the iPhone lags when compared to new iPhones... not androids, lmao.

I’m not going to keep a phone for multiple years, because there will be faster out there. Compared to newer iphones, they lag. Compared to brand new android phones, they’re smooth. get it?

I have never paid full price, cause I upgrade yearly. this will not end until I decide, in which case, I simply buy the phone outright, resell, and purchase. This will occur when I DONT upgrade yearly, which I don’t see happening.

It sounds like you all more so have an issue with me upgrading annually, which is completely merited. But I hate lag, and enjoy having the newest phone at all times. It is what it is, but my method of doing it isn’t poor nor cheap, it’s simply one of two ways and the difference between the two is Insignificant. Either way, iPhones remain dominant. And that’s the entire point of this thread. Apple is fucking thriving.

I have two options if I upgrade annually, on launch day: 1. Pay 40-45 a month, 0 down. This equates to around 450-550 a year. 2. Or buy a phone for 1200 every year, post ads and make an awkward meeting and sell it for 700-800, and buy the new one again for 1200. I am literally losing nearly nothing by “renting” or leasing. At any time I can get out of it by simply buying the phone. With my 11 pro max, I can buy it right now for $551 and sell for $700-800. But I don’t really care to, because I’ve only put 500 or so into it, and get the new one next month. Ther

Why would I? in a month, I will have the 12 pro max. If I buy my 11, i will have put 1100 in it, get 700-800 back, and have to buy the new one for 1200. I will save at most $80... over a year. its pointless, and not worth the effort of reselling.
