Honestly, I’d support annual hardware refreshes much like cell phones. Then support phases out after x amount of years. But yeah, this thing in general is pointless

I mean all the flag ships are good. But apples products are always the leaders, others half bake implementation. It’s why android requires 3x the ram as iOS but is still worse at ram management.

Not that I care about how long they’re supported but iOS 18 comes out in June and will likely support iPhone XR (2018)
