  1. Yeah, I don't know. We'll see what they say about it. I don't know shit about compression algorithms or the hardware. If it's any better then I suspect Microsoft wouldn't have released SSDs speeds, but I don't mind surprises.
  2. Damage is done, lol. Hopefully they have a proper reveal akin to PS4 to put people at ease.
  3. I don't think so because Kraken compresses better than ZLIB from my understanding.
  4. Close enough. I just assume at this point it'll be like Pro and some games will be unstable or crash.
  5. 2.4GB/s and 4.8GB/s compressed. 2:1 is the ratio. BCPack+ZLIB is better than KRAKEN, but you can't beat hardware that's physically better.
  6. https://blog.us.playstation.com/2020/03/18/unveiling-new-details-of-playstation-5-hardware-technical-specs/ I'll go ahead and take that apology now.
  7. I think we already know the compression ratio for BCPack. It's still not close.
  8. With both being based on RDNA 2 I can't see higher variable clock speed taking away the TF advantage; however, I don't think the TF advantage is going to be meaningfully significant. The Xbox Series X has guaranteed power with more hardware. At the end of the day Xbox Series X is going to be the one with that cleaner reflection or extra blades of grass or 38974289 extra pixels or whatever. I agree about the differences. It's always awesome to see two completely different teams pushing their design philosophies and demonstrating that to the hundreds of studios that will
  9. There's a bigger gap between PS4 Pro and Xbox One X... and there's been plenty of examples of PS4 Pro having some advantages. It's not just about the power of a console, it's also about the environment in which games are developed for these consoles. It's been said time and time again that PlayStation's development tools are superior to Xbox.
  10. Actually, 7nm in general has excellent yields. 7nm for an APU with a GPU that has to clock at 2.23GHz? Yeah, that's probably nightmare-ish.
  11. Makes sense. Binning chips to be stable at 2.23GHz... pretty insane. I bet this did wonders for AMD R&D; they seem pretty confident in their "multi ghz" claim.
  12. I'm sure you did... On PlayStation.
  13. I'll get back to you in a moment, playing the Resident Evil 3 demo. How's the Switch version?
  14. I got a better one... I can find you hiding; that's infinitely worse than bragging.
  15. Bu bu we dun care Didn't take long to break you.
  16. Just like how 3rd parties don't give a shit about Switch.
  17. Xbox has games and is beating Sony at it? That's news to me. I guess one wouldn't be able to see that when they're hiding because their preferred platform is worthless when it comes to 3rd party.
  18. Sorry, it's hard to see what you're saying when you're hiding behind fucking Xflop.
