  1. There's more than one way to skin a cat and because DirectX says its this way does not mean its the only way. Standardization is one thing; lacking support because DirectX says you have to meet said requirements is completely different.
  2. Right. It'll be loading all of those 3rd party games faster that are completely absent on Switch like it has been for the last 3 years... and for the next 6 years.
  3. Well, it was more towards DirectX than AMD's subpar demonstration. DirectX is just an API... who cares. It doesn't dictate support of features on hardware; it's just Microsoft's graphics API. There's plenty of examples of like APIs and proprietary solutions that aren't DirectX like Vulkan and LibGCM. All of them have their advantages and disadvantages.
  4. Only the SSD portion for a limited time.

This shit would be going right into investment.
  6. You probably are, but there is details missing and it's all very ambiguous. I'd be very surprised if this is how BC ends up being.
  7. @Remij_ Oh and by the way, it's not like we haven't treated each other like this before. SystemWars style of shit posting. Don't take it seriously.
  8. Look if I'm wrong I'll take the L. I'm done talking about this.
  9. Yes man. It's just like my shitty Infail CPU can support instructions from decades ago. The legacy mode is 100% tied to GPU frequencies. The native "boost mode" is limited to 100 games for the reasons Cerny mentioned which is why they have to go in and put in workarounds on a title-by-title basis. Seriously, do yourself a favor and watch the goddamn video.
  10. Yeah, it downclocks to their native frequency for games that aren't compatible with PS5's native GPU frequency. The logic and instruction set are always going to be there. There is no mode to enable this logic and instructions; it's just supported out of the box.
  11. Legacy modes are akin to the Github leaks when they were testing PS5's GPU at the PS4 and Pro's native frequencies. There is no boosted frequency in legacy mode.
  12. That is boost mode. Boosting current PS4 games to PS5's native GPU frequency. You're such a dumbass.
  13. Retreating to RetardEra confirms my suspicions about how you're retarded. Thanks for helping push that suspicion over the edge.
  14. Holy shit you literally chopped up Cerny's statement to feed into your retardation.
  15. That's PS5's boosted mode for enhancing PS4 games, you stupid fuck. Legacy modes support all PS4/PS4 Pro games as is... no enhancements. Like I said, you can't fix stupid.
  16. No, I'm not wrong and you're not telling me anything. You're literally saying Mark Cerny is lying. Pay attention this time:
  17. Yeah, one from Mark Cerny and the other from the blog. If you can't make the distinction then you're helpless. You can't fix stupid.
  18. Yes, that is for PS5's boost mode only (native clock frequency). The legacy modes run all PS4/PS4 Pro games without the "boost mode" enhancements. It's INSANE that you still haven't figured this out. You just triple downed too. You even quoted the part where he is exclusively talking about PS5's PS4 game enhancements through boosted mode yet completely ignore his previous statements on backwards compatibility. How dumb are you? Serious question.
  19. And then you go and double down on being stupid as fuck. Again, no surprise there.
