It doesn't matter if you think it's true or not. If you don't you'll stick with your paper weight; if you do then you'll be forced into spending hundreds of more dollars. Either way you lose.
-
Okay then, imagine spending $450 and then hundreds of more dollars on an RT card that will have run its course in less than a year.
-
Imagine spending $500 for a 50th Anniversary 5700 XT and benchmarking it fifty times with no hardware accelerated ray tracing capability.
-
Don't worry. It's current iteration will be long gone before you find out.

Not so fast. You can't change the subject. This thread is about how it costs $1,200 for defunct ray tracing hardware. I don't recall anyone here saying ray tracing, as the next step forward in graphical fidelity, not mattering. Care to dig up those quotes and let us know who said that?

You can have my GTX 670.
-
It's less than $300 USD in 'Murica.
-
$1,200 wasted on beta testing... we're the idiots.

Got him double posting now. Destroyed.

Go perform some more meaningless benchmarks.

Mmm... those tears.

It's current iteration is going to grow right into irrelevance.

Understand what? How you completely missed the mark or how you the point of this thread went right over your head?
-
Good analogy. Now you can understand how terrible a model T is to modern automobiles.

These defunct ray traced hardware tears are so good.

You mean the one developers will prioritize over PC like today?
-
I hope the example is applying defunct ray tracing hardware to this post.
-
I'm not, but we both know you're sporting a $1200 beta tester dud.
-
Don't worry, I'm sure NVIDIA has corrected course just in time for you to throw away $1200 more dollars.
-
Just for @Remij_. Thanks for beta testing.

No shit.
