It's already confirmed to have non-synchronous multiplayer, this isn't a question of that. The question is the interpretation of the label, and so far it doesn't line up with you or DynamiteCop. Death Stranding's non-synchronous multiplayer simply doesn't require Plus as indicated by the label.

Yeah, I'm probably going to get it. I've played all the other Destiny content, might as well continue. I like Destiny 2, but still got a bitter taste in my mouth. The only thing you'll probably have a hard time with in PvE is doing raids; some people are dicks and don't have any patience. In PvP pretty much anything is accessible, but get ready to get owned, it's no Halo. It requires skill, especially in competitive crucible.
