Streaming is already here. PlayStation Now's mid-term already compares to Stadia outside of 4K/60fps with that being the longer term goal (ie: probably next year). The funny thing is you're pulling a DynamiteCop and you don't even realize it when you say Stadia is next generation launching with current gen games. This is going to fun to bump when the next generation PlayStation and Xbox come out while you're still fumbling around two generations behind on Switch Pro.

This reminds of the Division 2 raid where the raid was considerably more difficult on consoles than PC.

Looks like Destiny 2 is going free-to-play, base game will called Destiny 2: New Light, cross-save Xbox/PC/Stadia (PS4 support later), no more exclusive content, and will move from Battle.net to Steam.

I'm starting to think that Sony may be using something similar to AMD's Radeon Pro SSG in order to get the load times and streaming speed we've seen so far. This guy is associated with the Khronos Group (Vulkan, etc.). From what I could find the on board NAND can produce up to 6GB/s. https://www.amd.com/en/products/professional-graphics/radeon-pro-ssg Assuming Microsoft doesn't have something equivalent the comparisons between next-gen PlayStation and Xbox Anaconda will be fun.

I imagine if Stadia can't handle an influx of users they'll be put into queues like PlayStation Now. They already demonstrated a similar queue style setup with users who wanted to play with their favorite streamers or whatever.
