  1. The real indicator will be whether or not there's a CU limitation.
  2. We didn't see that when Vega went 7nm, so yeah, it's definitely not GCN anymore.
  3. So RX 5700 is 10% faster than RTX 2070. No mention of ray-tracing support, though.
  4. Personally for me, 60fps is more than sufficient for 99% of the games that come out these days. Let's be real though, console games are going to continue to be 30fps or 60fps, mostly the former. I'm okay with that.
  5. I definitely will. I'll hit you up on PSN in party chat we'll drink one together if this shit is true.
  6. If they do like they did Xbox One X we should see most of the specifications which will be interesting considering the most recent next gen PlayStation leak. That's the only thing we haven't heard about so far regarding the next gen Xbox... ray-tracing. All we've heard is Zen 2, Vega/Navi, GDDR6 and an SSD. Numbers are all over the place except for Zen 2 which is probably going to be 3.2GHz. With the latest benchmark leaks for Zen 2 with 6c/12t possibly beating out a 2700X (8c/16t) in Geekbench it looks like Zen 2 is going to be a substantial upgrade. I predict Micros
  7. So the guy who posted this had an avatar. If you look close enough there's a link below it: The link reveals the supposed specifications of the devkit: 48 CUs 1849MHz GPU Clock 715MHz MemClock 4096bit bus 18GB HBM2 ~11.3TF
  8. To be fair, Microsoft is also incorporating touch controls if you don't have a controller; however, touch controls are easily the worst thing ever. Remote Play's touch controls are a good indication what it'll be like playing Project xCloud without a controller.
  9. It is confirmed through their Project xCloud reveal video. It makes perfect sense financially and logistically. What are you talking about? It guarantees compatibility with the existing library of Xbox One games, they already have the resources lined up to produce these blades, and Microsoft already confirmed, again through their Project xCloud video, that they're deploying these servers throughout their Azure regions already. The longer the wait the more money they're losing. The longer these servers sit in a cabinet, take up space and power, and aren't getting any MRR the more mo
  10. Microsoft already publicly confirmed that Project xCloud consists of modified Xbox One S hardware. It's not changing before or after the launch window, but they'll continue to upgrade their servers over time to include their next generation Xbox hardware at some point. Putting Xbox One X hardware in doesn't make sense financially and their next generation Xbox hardware is simply not going to be ready in time. Microsoft is probably ready to push this service out as soon as they feasibly can.
  11. https://www.thurrott.com/xbox/207220/microsoft-announces-more-xcloud-details Minus the confusion regarding modifications, it looks like Microsoft has taken the same approach as what Sony is doing with PlayStation Now.
  12. I honestly think there's just no interest in it yet, but it could get a lot more attention if Google starts paying for exclusive streaming rights for certain titles.
  13. This guy is claiming that when PS4 games are properly patched that load times can be increased significantly (ie: Spider-man); however, if not patched the games still load really fast... around 32% faster than an NVMe PCIe SSD (specifically Samsung PM1725a). Assuming this is real (bag of salt), this is pretty damn sick.
  14. Based on the video it seems that the shitty joy-cons are the culprit. You have to admit the joy-cons are straight trash.
