  1. Don’t worry about me my thoughts, they’ve been established.
  2. What? Lmao, my stance has been clear. You just keep biting the dinglejerrys, not my problem. Maybe UWP might solve this issue, right?
  3. It’s funny how PlayStation folk can figure this out, but this is trials and karenlations for hermslobs.
  4. It must be difficult being a hermslob where you invest 100s of hours into a game you like, but can’t figure out your geographical location unless it’s specified.
  5. Let me know when the Dipshitmits can select the country in their region.
  6. You’re still green. The lemming faction is all but dead. Just kidding, it’s dead as fuck.
  7. I can’t figure out what country I need to choose in my region!!1 Dipshitmits
  8. It’ll be fine. This is just System Wars fodder.
  9. I think it’s been laid out pretty well and you want a slam dunk, but it’s more of a layup.
  10. This is just getting stupid now. No one can understand the difference between selecting a country or a country within the region. Like I said earlier this is more miscommunication issue on Sony’s part with PSN and too difficult for a PC player to understand. That’s why it needs to be clarified on both ends.
  11. Apparently they can’t at the moment because Sony doesn’t have a solution where their reach is limited.
  12. Sony will most definitely use PC for double dippers and people without a PlayStation on their terms.
  13. Games are sold on a regional basis for PS Store not a country basis unless otherwise specified I would omagine. That’s why region assignments exist. It’s perfectly fine. It’s a matter of making an account just to sign into for purposes of Sony likely recording that regions “engagement”. The account doesn’t need to be used to buy games on Steam or anything. However, if Steam is blacklisting on a per country basis well it doesn’t matter if you have a PSN account anyways. Sony and Steam need to get together to clarify the terms.
  14. I think the big issue is Sony doesn't have the type of reach Steam does and I agree it's pretty bad. Maybe they should include a region (ie: Middle East) to circumvent any issues going forward. Sony sells a piece of hardware and services, but not everywhere, they encourage users to create accounts associated in that region using another country in said region. It's all kinds of fuckery. It's been happening for years, but Sony isn't throwing down the hammer... it's just a CYA legal thing.
  15. Most of the time, Sony will just require them to create a new account (as PSN adds more countries that are supported) and then ask you to use that account for purchase of games/services moving forward. However, they also refer you back to your old account to access previous purchases of games moving forward so I guess they don't totally lock you out of older purchases, but it does make it a bit of hassle. I mean, it's not breaking ToS if Sony encourages you to create an account in your region. The whole point they include "region" is to designate that user to their specific store a
  16. PlayStation Network has always allowed people to create accounts in their "region" so they can buy games/services to the corresponding PlayStation Store for said region. Kazakhstan was never officially available as a supported country, but those users used to use Russia and they would subsequently be pushed to that region's store without any issues. Find the nearest country in your "region", which Sony has a defined list, and everything should be fine. The only thing is finding availability in codes and/or ways to purchase games if your local bank isn't supported in that region.
