Actually it was confirmed that 3 Sony devs regularly maintain the PCSX ReARMed version which is what they're using. Self owned.

Makes me wonder if they used the open source emulator for Vita and PS3.

Sony contributes to open source all the time, but not specifically this project that i know of.
